2017 New Heat Powered Stove Top Fan Wood Stove Fan with Gift Stove Thermometer

Too early to rate but both fan and temperature device seem to work. Used on a Natural Gas burning fireplace insert with built in fan to take heat away from the stove pushing it into the room in which it is installed and in a room with a high ceiling ceiling fan, heat take-a-way is generally not a problem. The problem really is when the power goes out and the gas stove burns without its internal fan to take the heat away from it. I secured this fan to see how it will work in moving heat away from the stove in a non powered situation! Just placed on the (metal) top of the insert (the decor of this insert protrudes about ten inches into the room in which installed) I was impressed that the thermopile heat alone was enough to slowly activate the fan's blades and when the stove activates it appears to work as intended. Initial impressions are positive!

I was torn between getting this or a name brand 2 blade fan. I like this one. This is super quiet, and although you can't feel the hot air like you can with a battery operated fan, it still creates enough of a breeze to push hot air down the hall to the bedrooms. I have been using it for a couple months now with no problems.

This fan worked great and I thought that it was swell. It runs on amazingly low heat. I had some trouble getting ahold of Tech support however I think that the problem was messages somehow getting lost in the amazon system. Once in contact, Tech support was great to work with.

Made a huge difference with the heat flow and totally quiet!

Best seen but still more power needed

The media could not be loaded.  I bought two different fans.One works perfectly, this one only works sometimes. Today I have noticed that when I take the fan in hand and turn it to the side or upside down, it begins to move when I put it on the stand, it stops even if the fan is directly on the window in front of the oven, he does not go. the other fan has been running 110% since the first day, even with the slightest warmth, he starts turning.

The media could not be loaded.  Mittlerweile habe ich eine ganze Sammlung an Kamin Ventilatoren und kann mir ein gutes Bild machen was zu erwarten ist. Dieser hier ist sicher besser als andere Standventilatoren aber auch nicht perfekt. Der Ventilator läuft ca. nach 30 Minuten nach dem einheizen an, liefert aber nie einen genügend starken Luftstrom der wirklich einen Effekt hat.Das Geld kann man besser investieren. Die Variante welche mittels Magneten am Kaminrohr sitzt ist nach wie vor die Beste und sollte präferiert werden

Seit Februar 2018 im Einsatz. Läuft immer noch problemlos bei entsprechender Wärmeleistung des Pelletsofen an und verteilt die warme Luft ohne einen spürbaren Luftzug im relativ großen Raum. Wenn das Gerät jetzt auch noch für längere Zeit über den Garantiezeitraum hinaus funktioniert, bin ich mit meinem Kauf absolut zufrieden.
