Worth every penny!!
This pencil sharpener is a game changer!! Absolutely love it. Doesn’t eat your pencils. Sharpens to a sharp point and leaves a huge amount of edge to work with. I had no problem with a full range of pencils.. from soft graphite, to Prismacolor Premieres, to Faber Castell Polychromos… all of them sharpened to a perfect point. Buy it!! Definitely worth the money.

These sharpeners are really terrific. They sharpen pencils to a very fine point, even colored pencils.

The best pencil sharpener
This is without a doubt, the best pencil sharpener. I'm learning how to sketch and I don't have a lot of patience for sharpening pencils with the long tapered point that is needed. This pencil sharpener does a great job giving you a perfect point for drawing. It has a tip adjustment for the exact point you want, and stops automatically when the point is perfect. I'd definitely buy this again if I ever needed to, but it's so well made, I doubt I'll ever need to.

What surprised me ?
I was out-of-the-box surprised at the weight of this unit! It's far more beefy than the Staples brand piece of crap I just threw in the trash at twice the price! Everything about this unit, the thickness of the acrylic, the weight, the visible metal, shows me quality! Second, I was surprised at first use. The end result was an amazingly long Derwert brand 4B pencil. It was Alice in Wonderful LONG and not weak at all!I'm pleased. I believe the unit will last. I'm very surprised at how long long is so, truth in advertisement points.

Professional Drawing
Perfect for drawing with graphite pencil in a professional manner. I draw and teach drawing to adults. This sharpener avoids the handheld blade sharpening method and you can skip right to the sandpaper smoothing before drawing with a needle thin point.
