Received this yesterday. As some have said it's very light weight and seems a littte flimsy when removed from its box I assembled and conducted the water test and it passed with flying colors. Now however it's extremely difficult to open back up. But waterproof it truly is. The case is very nice looking and the phone fits extremely well. I however don't like the feel of the case in my hand. The back has the spider web look. It's a different look but I personally don't like how it feels. I also am not a huge fan of the clear front as it doesn't fit tight Again's the screen however I have had no issues with using the phone. All the switches work perfectly and as I said it's very waterproof. I also don't like how bulky it feels. It makes my phone look and feel like a brick as the case is squared and a bit clunky looking to me. It does what is says it will. Time will tell as to the port closure durability. Some have written it failed them but so far so good. Overall I am happy. Just not the most stylish case but for the price I'm pretty happy and not liking the feel in my hands is a personal preference. I agree I wish came in multiple colors but the black is a nice look.

Almost didn't purchase this due to a review that mentioned they couldn't hear with it on phone. Not sure what they must have done wrong (or if it has been changed) but I can hear just fine (and I notoriously hate talking on cell phones vs landline phone due to sound, but not with this AT ALL).Needed something with a carabiner (also use a lanyard with it for mowing, etc.), and this waterproof one (in black) was the only one that met my requirements. While I can't speak toward the actual waterproof aspect of the case, I do believe my last iPhone may have started biting the dust due to steam from surfing the net in hot baths, so hoping this aspect of this case will help in that regard. Have had for a couple months now & so far so good.Good protection on the case as well

I have used it about three times now in a lake and river attached to my neck with a lanyard so I can take pictures and videos without risk of loosing it or getting wet. There was a cover that I was a little concerned about the looks fitting pop in plug cover for the mute button. It wasn't centered enough to get to button without a tool which I don't care too much about but I did fear I would loose it or it would leak. It never leaked but I eventually noticed the plug popped off the case was useless to me. I mentioned this in an earlier version of this review and the company sent out a new case where I realized that my problem was a manufacturing defect. The new case is perfect and confident that it won’t leak. The plug that was popping of isn’t a plug but a dial that rotates in place that turns do not disturb on and off. This good case has a bracket behind the button that the old didn’t have.

I bought it for the lanyard connection, but it is indeed waterproof as advertised -- which means every possible orifice is covered. Telephony isn't adversely affected: I called my elderly mother and we heard each other just fine. But when I played a podcast using the stereo speakers, the volume was too low to be acceptable. Also, it is very easy to accidentally poke a hole in one of the membranes covering the stereo speakers. The hole doesn't improve the speaker volume, but it obviously defeats the purpose of the waterproofing. I'll keep the case for extreme weather or camping trips, but it won't be my primary case.

Leaked on first use in the pool. Not sure why, as all the ports were closed, and the case was firmly closed over the phone. Once water enters in, the screen no longer responds. Luckily, was using this over the iPhone 7 Plus which is already waterproof, but wanted an extra layer of protection.

Update: So they refunded me plus sent me a brand new one. Really can't go wrong here in my NEW opinion lol. Takes GREAT underwater video & pics from my iPhone 7.People can't hardly hear me anymore & really hard to open whether on ur phone or not but worth the $20, in my opinion...when compared to $50 ones I've previously bought though. Oh ya...& the Touch ID kinda sux with it on but worth at least a star still. Lol

When talking on the phone I can hear great on my end, but it's hard for people on the other end to hear me. Other reviewers who have said they have no issues with this, must have a magic trick because it just won't work for me. Other than that the case is very sturdy. The front protection has no interference with the finger print scanner to unlock the phone, so overall it's good case. Probably better suited for a beach vacation rather than everyday use.

Been on vacation 3 times this summer and this case has been a rock star. Scuba diving, jet ski, snorkeling, swimming in the beach as well as pool and it does its job. Touch screen and pics work flawless. Would definety recommend and buy again. For the price you cannot go wrong.
