Mythographic Color and Discover: Wild Winter: An Artist's Coloring Book of Snowy Animals and Hidden Objects

I’m a huge fan of Myphographic series in general and Joseph Catimbang in particular. This book is another masterpiece to enjoy: beautiful intricate drawings and high quality of paper that works perfect with pencils, watercolour pencils, markers and gel pens make it the best option ever. Highly recommend!

This coloring book is printed on a nice heavy paper, the pictures are well drawn and will be, at least for me something of a challenge. Very detailed and very intricate. I look forward to having time to test my skills as soon as the holidays are over.

I love these drawings! For some the fine detail may be difficult, but i love them. The only thing I would change is the "hidden Items" really wish they would not put them in the drawings. The paper is thick and holds color well ( I use gel pens to color). I like the single drawing per page to prevent bleed through. Highly recommended.

I've purchased quite a few Mythographic books and realized I prefer Joseph's work to the other featured artists. His 'hidden objects' do not fill up the beautiful drawings with trash as some others do. Pluses: I like the less bold lines that most of the drawings have. The paper is the standard medium quality paper that takes colored pencils very well. Pages are perforated and printed on one side. Minuses: A few of the drawings do not seem related to winter other than a few snowflakes added to them.I am sure someone will do a flip, if they haven't already. Many colorists have complained about too many hidden objects in these books and I agree. However, Joseph keeps them to a minimum and most, if not all of them relate to the image subject. I am happy with my copy.

Great artist great works. Best color books I have found to keep my interest in a long long time. Have preorder the up coming ones which is something I never do . It that important to me to get them. GREAT artist

I love Joseph's work so much! I rarely preorder but this one was definitely a no-brainer. The pictures are intricate, as is his style, and the animals are so adorable it was hard to decide which one to colour first. I really like the way he works around the (imo STUPID) premise of the Mythographic hidden objects, incorporating them into the picture and using small animals when he can.

I love this book! All the pages have drawings on just one side so you don't have to worry about markers leaking through. Each page is easy to tear out, and the art is absolutely amazing!

Love this book! Still need to practice things like coloring skin etc. but that doesn't spoil the fun! I love the pictures and the pages can handle a lot of different mediums. I just tried ice effect from Viva Decor, works great and really add something to it. I also bought ice crystal from Viva Decor, want to try it out on the ice skating girl page. Recommend this book!

Très beau livre de coloriage pour adultes. Les dessins sont splendides, mettant en scène des animaux de toutes sortes dans un décor hivernal. J'aime le fait que des humains soient glissés dans la plupart des dessins, en harmonie avec ces animaux dans leur environnement givré. Merci à l'auteur qui a créé un livre enchanteur où s'évader. Un plaisir à colorier.

Ich habe mir das Buch bestellt, nachdem ich in Colorationsgruppen ein paar Bilder gesehen hatte die mir sehr gut gefielen, deshalb musste ich mir das Exemplar auch bestellen. Ich habe ja schon ein paar Bücher der Mythogrphic Reihe und fand sie von Anfang an schon schön.Das Buch hat wieder ein quadratischen Format wie alle Bücher aus der Reihe und dieses wurde wieder von Joseph Catimbang gezeichnet. Mir persönlich gefallen die Bilder sehr gut, gerade die Tiere haben es mir eh angetan die der Zeichner sehr gut umsetzt finde ich. Manchmal muss man den Winter schon suchen, da ist für mich der Winter nicht so erkennbar. Aber das ist für mich persönlich halb so wild denn ich bin selber was so Titel geben und so angeht nicht so kreativ und sehe das auch weniger eng.Das Papier ist weiß und hat wie immer eine gute Qualität auch eine Perforation ist wie immer vorhanden um die Bilder einfach raustrennen zu können. Auf dem Papier lässt sich mit einigen Medien gut arbeiten, würde aber nicht umbedingt Alkoholmaker empfehlen. Auch in diesem Buch sind es wieder Wimmelbilder wo Kleinigkeiten versteckt sind.Wer keine Wimmelbilder mag ist hier vielleicht nicht so gut bedient, auch wenn ich finde das die verstecken Gegenstände das Bild in keinster Weise beeinträchtigen. Die Lösung für die Gegenstände sind hinten im Buch zu finden. Das diese Schatzsuche unsäglich ist, kann ich nun nicht bestätigen. Auch in den Colorationsgruppen gibt es viele die genau sowas schön finden da es eben immer wieder was zu entdecken gibt was man nicht alles auf dem ersten Blick sieht. Auch den Detailgrad finde ich super, ich bin eh ein Mensch der sehr detailverliebt ist und in diesen Bücher hat man viele von den liebevollen Details.Sicherlich muss man so einen Detailgrad mögen und wer es nicht so kleinteilig mag und damit schnell überfordert ist denke ich ist hier auch falsch. Ich finde die Bilder sehr kreativ und entführt einen schon in die verschiedensten Welten wenn man sich darauf einlassen kann.
