Best value in men's shaving, if you don't mind smelling like a tropical paradise for a few seconds.
Some back of the napkin math to get us started: - Favorite men's shave oil (shave secret): $30 for 0.3 oz = $100/oz - Tree hut shave oil: $12 for 7.7 oz = $1.5/oz - Now I want to figure out the price if Tree Hut sold their shave oil at the same price per ounce as my previous masculine scented shave oil: (100/1.5) = 66.6666666667 (meaning if you divide the price/oz of the men's brand by the price/oz of tree hut brand, my favorite dude brand is 6667% more expensive per ounce than tree hut). - 66.67 x $12 = $800.00 (meaning Tree Hut could raise their prices to $799.99 for the 7.7 oz bottle (which would be absurd and of course I wouldn't buy it) but I would still be getting a better value for money than I do with leading men's options). Alright so with that out of the way, I hardly review my purchases, but I'm a guy who likes a good value, and I've used a pump of this shave oil everyday for the last 6 months and it's been a pleasure to use, and I still have a few weeks left in my bottle before repurchasing. I purchased it in July at 11.99.... it's now December and it looks like the price has gone up to $22, but as a guy, I'm used to paying up to $100/oz for shave secret's oil, which smells heavenly and masculine, but their little squeeze bottles are frustrating to use, and cost a fortune compared to tree hut, which at the time that I purchased costed $12, meaning tree hut would have to raise the price 6,667% to $800 for their shave oil to match the pathetic value of my favorite men's shave oil product. Before tree hut, I thought of shave oil as a niche product that was just more expensive than creams, and that was just something I had to put up with to get the benefits of a shave oil, but Tree Hut has proven that you can get a legendary value with good quality for a pre-shave oil product. Tree hut is getting more expensive since I purchased my first bottle 6 months ago, and I have to pay a few dollars more for it, but it's still a gobsmackingly tremendous value compared to favorite leading men's brands. Normally, I feel like men have the upper hand when it comes to getting a good value on toiletries and beauty products. I often see reviews where women (especially in shaving) buy men's toiletries to get a good value, because women versions are marked up through the roof despite being a similar product with a pink bottle or finish. That said, tree hut shave oil is one product where the gentleman should really take note and consider crossing over to buy this shave oil over the traditional men's brands. The product quality is good and as I've mentioned before, value for money is amazing. Shaving my sensitive facial skin with Tree Hut is ridiculously satisfying and beyond anything I've experience with shave secret, harry's, nivea, and other men's brands. This is because the formula lubricates your skin really well, as intended, but also the pump nozzle gives you enough product that you can really cover the intended area, and the volume you get in the bottle means you don't have to feel guilty about using a full pump, cause you get a lot of mileage from the bottle — meaning you use enough to really lather up and benefit from it. This amounts to an awesome shaving experience, and I've experienced no nicks or bleeding in the past six months - compared to my daily bloodbath with other brands in the past. The one compromise you have to make as a man using this product is the scents. Vivacious would be an exaggeration, but it is a bit strong, and not scented for a male audience. But if you don't mind smelling like a tropical paradise for 90 seconds to save 6,667% on shave oil, then I think it's a good trade-off. It's really not that bad and you have multiple options for different scented versions, so pick your adventure. But if you shave in the shower like me, or you're washing your face afterwards, you won't even notice the scent of this shave oil by the time you get out of the shower, and you'll hardly mind it after the first couple uses. That said, I think it'd be a great move for Tree Hut to make a fragrance-free version of their shave oil and other products - then they could truly market this homerun product as unisex and win the men's market as well. I also hope tree hut keeps this one at a good price. I'll repurchase it at $22 (Dec '22), but if the price rises much more, I'll start looking at other competitors that offer a better value, though they'd have to raise the price astronomically for the value to diminish to a level similar to Shave Secret and other top men's shaving oil products.

Almost Perfect Shave Oil for Sensitive and Acne-Prone Skin
I absolutely love Tree Hut’s Bare Moisturizing Shave Oil in the Coconut-Lime scent. I’ve struggled with sensitive and acne-prone skin for years, and this product has been a game-changer for me. It provides a smooth, irritation-free shave every time and has significantly reduced the number of post-shave breakouts I experience. The oil itself has a delightful coconut-lime aroma that’s not overpowering. It’s thick enough to provide a substantial layer between the razor and your skin, but not so thick that it clogs the razor. This means I can shave without worrying about nicks or skin irritation, something I’ve rarely experienced with other products. The one drawback I’ve found is the packaging. On a couple of occasions, the bottle has arrived leaking, presumably from being jostled during shipping. While it’s frustrating to lose some of the product this way, it’s not a deal-breaker for me, given the oil’s overall effectiveness. I just make sure to store it upright and check for leaks as soon as it arrives. In summary, this shave oil is fantastic for anyone with sensitive or acne-prone skin. Just be cautious about potential leaks during shipping. Despite this minor issue, I continue to buy it and would highly recommend it to others.

A Game-Changer for Smooth, Irritation-Free Shaving
After years of dealing with razor burn, nicks, and dryness from shaving creams and foams, I've finally found the holy grail - Tree Hut's Bare Moisturizing Shave Oil. This product has completely revolutionized my shaving routine and I will never go back to regular shave creams again. The coconut lime scent is absolutely divine - fresh, tropical, and utterly invigorating in the shower. But beyond just smelling amazing, this shave oil truly delivers on its moisturizing promises. It glides onto skin effortlessly and provides the closest, smoothest shave every single time without any irritation, razor burn, or dryness afterwards. My sensitive skin feels soft, soothed and downright pampered. The oil formulation is much more lubricating than standard shave creams, allowing the razor to smoothly cut through hair without dragging or tugging. I've found I get far fewer nicks and cuts. And a little goes a very long way - just a few pumps covers your whole shaving area. I can't recommend this product highly enough, especially for anyone prone to razor irritation, burn, or unsightly shaving rashes. Tree Hut's shave oil has been an absolute game-changer in my grooming routine. Don't walk, run to buy this - your skin will thank you!

Surprised at how great this is
I have sensitive skin that is prone to dryness and gets really itchy after shaving, even if I moisturize immediately. I'm also frustratingly stubbly within less than 12 hours. I have been looking for an option that is moisturizing without being slimy and can help me make this process a little less awful. I have been seeing good reviews for this for a while, and thought perhaps it was time. The smell is pleasant, and disappears almost immediately after my shower, exactly the way I would like it. The oil is smooth and does what it promises - a close shave, moisturizes skin, and generally makes for a nice experience. I'm also very nervous about slipping in the shower, and this is not that kind of product. It rinses away cleanly from both the shower floor and my legs, and I don't feel like I'm setting myself up for injuries. My legs are left smooth and not dried out, and with continued use, I'm seeing a longer and longer window before the prickles appear. And also doesn't take a ton of product to get the job done, which I appreciate. $9 a bottle is nothing to shake a stick at, but I'm going to get probably three or four months out of this.

Smoothest Shave Ever – A Hidden Gem in My Skincare Routine
I wasn’t sure what to expect from a shave oil, but this Tea Tree Coconut Lime Shave Oil has completely changed the way I shave—in the best way possible. Silky Smooth Glide: The texture of this oil is lightweight but rich. It creates an incredibly smooth surface for my razor to glide over, which has noticeably reduced irritation and those pesky post-shave bumps. It’s especially great for sensitive areas and close shaves. Skin-Soothing Formula: The combination of tea tree oil and coconut works beautifully to calm and moisturize the skin. I’ve noticed less redness after shaving, and my skin feels soft and hydrated even hours later—no more dryness or razor drag. Fresh, Clean Scent: The coconut lime scent is subtle, refreshing, and clean—not overpowering or artificial. It leaves a light tropical note on the skin that feels luxurious but not overwhelming. A Little Goes a Long Way: Just a few drops are enough to cover large areas, so the bottle lasts much longer than expected. It’s mess-free and rinses clean without any greasy residue. Multipurpose Use: I’ve even used this as a pre-wax oil and a post-shave moisturizer. It’s versatile and makes my routine feel elevated and spa-like. As someone who genuinely enjoys discovering quality personal care products and offering helpful, honest feedback, I can say this one deserves attention. If you're looking to elevate your shaving experience while caring for your skin, this is a standout. 5 out of 5 stars – Smooth results, soothing formula, and worth every drop.

Better than cream and gel, great for men too
Usually wouldn't write a review for something this basic but I was really surprised with this product. First off, the scent. I really, really do not like the scent of basically every "Men's" shaving cream. It all has that shaving cream smell or, well, you know what I mean if you don't like it. Just can't stand it, and it tends to stick around too. Because of that I used Aveeno Therapeutic Shave Gel, which is kind of expensive compared to cheap shaving cream. It's nothing special, normal shave gel as far as I can tell, but it has a very mild and neutral smell so it's what I've been using for awhile. The scent of this oil is also very neutral and mild, kind of like fresh coconut and citrus-y, and that's basically it. The citrus is the main thing I could smell, the coconut is just barely there. It left very little or almost no scent on me after I rinsed it off too, which was a plus. It's not a masculine or feminine smell, just.. neutral. It's good. As for how it works, compared to the Aveeno gel, this stuff is pretty amazing. I only need a very small amount, my razor glides much better than it does with the gel. It's definitely more than enough to shave in multiple directions, and it seems to stick around on my skin after a few strokes, almost enough that I can "shave twice" without putting more on, if I want that really close shave. Really surprised with how well this worked. On top of that, the Aveeno gel always left my skin really dry after rinsing it off, as did every other shave gel or shaving cream, even if it was labeled "moisturizing". This stuff didn't. My skin is just about as moist as I want it to be, not moist, sticky, or greasy like I just put on lotion, but not bone dry like it usually was after shaving. I always put lotion on my face to deal with a bit of razor burn and dryness, especially on my neck, and I don't feel like I need it anymore, which is great. Hope this helps. I know this is kind of marketed as a women's product and I'm sure a lot of women also use the Aveeno gel, so I thought the comparison between the two would be useful. 5/5 buy it!!!!!!!!!
