The bearings on kid bike pedals are notoriously low quality, and so they get sticky and need to be replaced - this is the second set of these pedals we've bought and they are super well made, and last so much longer than the factory parts. They have a nice big area for stability, and the nubs are grippy with several different pairs of shoes. We will definitely continue to buy this brand for its consistent and reliable quality and great price point.

These pedals are labelled L and R and are easy to install. They look amazing on my bike as they add a complementary contrasting color to the monochrome frame. We do mostly green and blue trails and they have held up through the bumps and jumps. The thing I would change would be to add a few more foot hold ridges. I purposely bought the option without the metal pins because my shins were getting hammered, and I knew the hold wouldn't be as good, but my feet still slip a bit more than I expected. Overall I would absolutely buy again in as many colors as possible!
