Fabulous!
This book is great at challenging the mindset that society/media/companies have convinced us is normal. With a practical structure the author clearly understands the debt mindset and how to break free from the pressure of debt. A great read, accessible and informative!

Highly recommend
My finances were making me sick. I was disgusted with the debt I had accumulated and it felt like a losing battle no matter how I looked at it. Erin’s approach to Get The Hell out of Debt has given me control. It’s been 5 months since I’ve implemented her strategies and although I’m not perfect, I’m empowered and more thoughtful when it comes to making a purchase. This book has not only helped me set financial boundaries but also boundaries in many other areas of my life. Erin’s humour and stories weaved throughout the book make it an easy read. She uses language and analogies that anyone can relate to. I highly recommend this book as a solid step to taking control of your finances.

Worthwhile Financial Advice for those who hate talking numbers
This is a financial book for everybody, but in particular, for those of us (I’m at the top of the list) whose eyes glaze over when people start talking numbers and financial advice. If you tremble and stumble over the word budget, this book is for you. If you like your financial advice will a wicked cup of smart-@$$ humour, this book is for you. If you want to unpack your relationship with money OR start having a relationship with money, this book is for you.Full disclaimer: I am not, nor have I ever been, in debt. This is largely due to a highly privileged upbringing and then marrying a man who can’t stand owing someone a cup of coffee. BUT I’ve never really had a relationship with money (or a healthy one, anyway) and I’ve never thought about how to make my money work FOR me….until reading “Get the Hell Out of Debt.”My eyes usually glaze right over when people start talking about RRSP’s and TFSA’s. Reading this book made me realize my eye-glazing is because I’ve (1) always assumed I’m “no good” with numbers and (2) always believed “money-talk” is someone else’s department. Erin’s humour, humanity, and wisdom are broken apart into digestible chunks that UNglazed my eyes and opened my mind.A must-read for everyone, especially those of us just realizing that taking control of our money equals taking control of our lives.

Excellent Personal Finance Book!
A top-notch financial book! Erin Skye Kelly’s book provides a straightforward plan for how to get out of debt and build wealth. She explains the reasoning behind each step and provides information specific to readers in different countries (including Canada). I enjoyed the approachable, humorous, and no nonsense tone of this book. The author genuinely cares for the reader and it comes through the pages. It is judgement free with a healthy dose of tough love and a side of hilarious. The financial advice is solid and I wish I had known more of this information when I was younger and dealing with student loan debt. Surprisingly, there is also plenty of advice that can be applied to all facets of life. I definitely had some mindset shifts regarding finances and personal growth as I read. Whether you have debt or not, this book is a valuable read. I highly recommend it.

The best Debt Book I have ever read. Honest, real, motivating
The Cover of this book invites you in, it is bright and welcoming just like Erin, the Author. Erin has a way of drawing you in with her vulnerability, realism and great real life examples. She is funny, honest, a great story teller and she really wants to help people conquer their debt and really be successfully financially. Whether you have Debt or not this is a great read and I suggest ya grab a notebook and take notes as there is so much great information and great examples and stories. You will be motivated ! This may be the first Author I have read on Debt and Finance that really cares about her reader and I could have used this book years ago.
