These are plastic and don’t last. I use them around my garage for carpenter work. Dropped one about 3’ broke. Push button to extend the lead jammed up and won’t work on another pencil. Push button on another pencil pushes the whole end of pencil off. 2 down out of 4 pencils purchased. CHEAP MADE DONT BOTHER

Great product love it !

Although this product was marketed for carpentry tools I was hoping it would work for what I needed. There are 4 mechanical pencil 2 (red & black) are 2.0 lead and come with red and gray. The other 2 (red and yellow) doesn't state what size the lead is but it will not fin in the 2.0 pencil. Both of the bigger pencils have sharpens on the ends and come with refills yellow and gray. I beleive the gray is graphite. This would be excellent for someone who does wood work but they will not Write on smooth metal surfaces nor on tires very well, which is what I needed them for. Good product just not what I needed. I will be keeping these though. Good price for product. I cannot rate durability because i just received the,but the do not feel cheaply made.

Little late on the review. But I’ve been using with no complaints!

Each of the 4 Pencils are approximately 6 inches long and have 1 stick of "graphite" in them. The cases for the 36 refills are sturdy and well built for a total of 40. The quality of the Refills is good the black graphite is marked as 2B. The sharpeners work well. I'm very pleased with the purchase and quality. I'd buy it again.Someone said on another review that the cap falls off. If you don't over tighten them, they work properly.

So I love how the pencils work but the cap with the sharpener does not stay in. It has fallen out numerous time and finally today it fell off and not able to locate it making the pencil useless.

Used everyday at work, works great.

Better than regular pencils

They fall apart constantly, from the moment I got them. I threw them out, kept the crappy leads which are also terrible quality with hopes they'll fit my new pencil. Nope. Will never buy anything from this name again.
