I can't attest to durability at this point because they are new to me. However as a sneakerhead, I can spot and appreciate a well made shoe!You can smell the quality of the material out the box and it has a nice thick stitch of reinforcement on the side where boxer shoes get worn.Also the sock lining and collar in the back of the shoe has a firm support & cushioned feel. The toe box felt wider than Ascics or Ringsides and seems like an overall high-quality construction.So far I'm loving the look and the comfort.

First and foremost, these got delivered 31 days faster than stated. I’m overseas, and didn’t expect these till a month later, so freakin chefs kiss.Ok, onto the review. I first became aware of the brand from the man, myth, and legend, Jay Cutler, the real JC, not that messianic dude who got lost for a month. I saw these and just…KNEW my lifts would improve by the proximity to something JC had worn at some point. I wore these bad boys to the gym and instantly the employees had to follow me around with a ‘caution: floor slippery when wet’ sign from all the ladies around me who couldn’t help themselves at the shoe-based divinity. ‘‘Twas leg day, and as I set my mighty thews to the task of of the leg press…I heard…I HEARD JC himself whisper, ‘More plates…’ and I could not but do as instructed. With a single press, with the divine stingrays wrapped snugly, perfectly, maybe even…lovingly, like a hug from a father who went for milk and never came back…about my feet, inspired by sheer awesomeness of style and function, I launched the leg press platform into orbit one the first rep! I was later told that the international space station had to expend precious fuel to alter its trajectory to avoid a suspiciously leg-press-shaped object, and I would be billed. No matter. My fans and subjects will surely cover the cost when they see me stride about the gym clad in Otomix.TLDR: Comfortable (way more than I woulda thought), great grip and feel, totally worth it.

I bought them for the gym. Now I used them everywhere. Nice fit, exactly what I wanted

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Had to return first pair due to defective ringlets. The shoelace on the right boot would catch and fray. The replacement pair did not have this issue.Shoes are fairly well made. Glue is a bit sloppy is a couple spots, where the sole meets the shoe.Will update this review as time goes on and the durability of these shoes is shown.

Love these shoes, they are absolutely the best shoes to wear any time of the day really. They’re great in heavy squat days but honestly I wear them everywhere. Good material, sturdy shoes and they look very nice.

Extremely comfortable, very light weight, and the nonslip soles make this a great training shoe. The high top version provides that ankle support I need.

These are the best shoes I've ever worn in the gym. I've tried barefoot shoes, skate shoes, special Wrestling shoes and none touch these. First off: I like wearing outrageous workout gear and these shoes make the cut. The purple is spot on.Second: They are so comfortable! They grip your foot just right! Not too tight, and definitely not loose. They ride your ankle at the perfect height and allow for a decent amount of roll, but you sure won't be twisting an ankle in these.Lastly: They grip the floor super well. This is probably the most important aspect for me. Squats used to be a little freaky for me because I didn't know if my shoes would get enough purchase. With these shoes I don't budge unless I want to.Overall great shoe! Wish they were cheaper because I'd buy another pair for just hanging out!Long-Term Edit: This particular pair of shoes is still going strong. I've now had them for about 6 years, and they aren't tearing or breaking down. Granted, they are only ever worn in the gym. I'd bump my rating up, but I already had it at 5 stars. Edit in 2025: these shoes are beginning to wear down slightly - still another few years in them I believe.DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR RUNNING!
