I believe that you would be better off buying either a brick of pressed and dried coco coir or a bag of canna coco if you want to start seedlings... these discs are somewhat worthless as they are just overpriced pieces of pressed and dried coco coir with a restrictive mesh net around them.... i would recommend buying normal coir and placing it in dixie cups and then place them in your own propagator, the one included is garbage and is flimsy to the point of almost being a plastic bag rather than a plastic sturdy propagator. i would not purchase this product again and i would not recommend it to friends.
