I've tried to use a couple of other items to help pull bushes and small trees out and none of the compare to this. This is a really good and easy product to use. Just wrap around the bush, pull through the loop and then pull. It will grab the tree and get tighter as you pull.

This thing is heavy.......Nice chain. There appears to be quality in the construction, and the green color does stand out.I ordered this to remove some Honeysuckle bushes on our property. We don't have a lot, but I don't want any more, so I did enough reading to convince me I have to get them out of the ground before the birds eat the berries next year and propagate more bushes.I used the Brush Grubber chain on the back of a John Deere 1025R. Chain work like a champ with little effort. It slid off of a few bushes until I learned how to double tie it around the bushes.It got cold before I finished, so I have a few bushes left to pull.Looking forward to warmer weather in Indiana in a few months, and another chance to use this.Any tractor time is good tractor time.Regards.

Very nice quality chain and easy to use.

I was glad to use it until one of the chain links broke. Ease of use was OK, and effectiveness was decent for my needs.The listing (at time of purchase and of review) says that it is to be used with ATV, UTV, and lawn tractors. When I called to inquire about a warranty claim, I was informed that a 32hp tractor was outside the intended usage (manufacturer said ATV/UTV only), so I was denied warranty coverage. Parts to repair would cost more than a new one, so I'm just out of luck.I'm disappointed that it broke within 4 months of purchase, but I understand that stuff happens. I'm more disappointed that the listing here said I could use a lawn tractor, but it turns out that using my tractor voided the warranty. That is compounded by a lack of realistic options for a fix, or even a discount on purchasing another of their products.

I have used this produce in the past and it is amazing but I was sent the wrong model. I order the heavy duty model BG-19 and was sent BG-16. Amazon was good about it and accepted the return. I call the seller (bill inside the package) and order the correct model.

The positives first: It appears well made and sturdy, and Amazon refunded my money, no questions asked, after I tried it and failed to get it to work. It might have worked in other applications, but not mine.I was trying to pull up clumps of young weed trees, black locust, cottonwood, and willow. All were less than 1 inch in diameter, yearling trees. Tried it about 20 times and was never able to get it to pull out anything by the roots. It usually just skint the little trees and pulled off. I tried clumps and single stems, no help there. Problem seems to be that it would not cinch tight enough, the grip links seemed to prevent that. I tried the same thing with a regular chain choker and got much better results. The chain cinched better.

Works like they say... just read the instructions as there is a correct way to wrap it around a shrub you want to remove...otherwise it may slip off.. so just follow their instructions.

Heavy duty chain that works well with tractor. It need the right size bush to pull effectively. Tends to slip off, ride up stems on many stubs and small trees.
