Works as expected
Received the part in a timely fashion.It matched the fuel pump that was in the vehicle.So far the fuel pump has been working properly.I would suggest removing most of the fuel from the fuel tank before attempting installation. I would suggest having the battery disconnected before attempting installation. Complete removal of the gas tank was not necessary for my vehicle since there was enough room to lower the tank with a floor jack and remove and install the fuel pump, but it might be easier and necessary for other vehicles. Make sure to have tool to release fuel lines. Would suggest replacing fuel filter as well.

Great product
Perfect fit up with easy installation. Pump works great with no issues.

Not working properly.
The pump was installed and works well but the sending unit marks empty even when full, seems reversed, can't figure out. When battery is disconnected it marks 1/8 tank which is about right but when better is connected it reads below empty.

right pump at the right price!
perfect fit, comes with the exact wiring harness for the 98 Mustang. Saw immediate improvement on performance of vehicle. Will update if any problems are experienced.

Good buy!
Really good sending unit. Only problem is the "over-pressure" safety valve blew out on on the first use which made me have to drop the tank again and plug it with some gasoline epoxy and a small bolt. Has worked phenomenally since then.

Fuel level sending unit does not work
Fuel pump works, fuel level sending unit does not work. Tested with known good unit, and issue was confirmed to be with this assembly. 1998 Mustang Cobra

"READ" I have 1998 mustang v6, swapped to cobra ...
"READ" I have 1998 mustang v6 ,swapped to cobra svt motor. Drove it for less than a year and car died. Brought to shop and they said fuel pump. Got this fuel pump,shop charged $160 to install. Now car runs perfectly!!!
