This hard case for the AirPods Max is very well made and extremely rigid. It feels protective and gives me a lot of confidence that the headphones are safe from being crushed or scuffed. If you travel with your AirPods Max in a backpack or bag on a regular basis, a hard case like this is absolutely worth having. I do not use the hard case all the time because opening and closing the zipper can be a bit inconvenient for quick access. For short trips, such as going to work, the library, or leaving them in the car, I usually keep the headphones in the standard case so I can grab them quickly. Where this case really shines is during travel or any situation where the headphones will be bouncing around in a backpack while walking.
