Purchased for $25.28 in November 2025. There’s something deeply satisfying about gliding a big, sharp, heavy pair of scissors across fabric, and these Singer 12" tailor scissors absolutely deliver that feeling. They’re solid, feel very well made, and cut like an absolute dream. The weight actually works in their favor—once they’re moving, they just keep going, especially on longer cuts across the table. They sit nicely flat and make clean, confident cuts without chewing or snagging the fabric. These definitely feel like proper, no-nonsense sewing scissors that are meant to work, not just look pretty in a drawer. If you’re cutting fabric regularly, these are worth every penny. TLDR Heavy, sharp, and extremely satisfying fabric scissors that glide smoothly and make long cuts easy. Excellent quality and well worth the price if you sew or cut fabric often.

Everyone always goes on about Ginghers, but I think Singer may have them beat on this one. I own 2 8" pairs of Ginghers, 1 10" Sam Chu, 1 10" Fiskers Dressmaker, and these 12" Singer shears have become my favorite. It is pretty weighty, but with these beasts, you could cut through ANYTHING! They're bent, so you just sit this flat on the surface and with a couple of snips, you've cut your fabric with no problems. I'm actually considering replacing my 10" Fiskers with the 10" Singers. High value fabric shears without the ridiculous cost
