Great buy and excellant Quality
bought these for assembling some cabinets I was making. They are a true 90 degrees as measured with a digital guage. Worked great and was just what I needed.

Nice squares
They had some sharp edges, but I smoothed them out with a fine grit sanding disc on my angle grinder. They seem to be a true 90 degrees, plus they're wide enough to use clamps for welding and metal fabrication. They're good squares for the right price. Would definitely recommend.

Really nice, a bit expensive
These were just the thing I needed for complex glue-ups. Simpler to use and more versatile than the usual corner clamps, and they pass the squareness test with flying colors. My only real complaint is that they're a little bit spendy for what they are.

OK, but significantly better than that
Virtues: they are sturdy, they nest (clamps take a lot of space, something I don't have a lot of ), non-rusting, outside surfaces reasonably square. Starrett quality they are not, but neither are they cruddy.Faults: inside surfaces are not machined and therefore are not square. ( The squares clearly are made by bending aluminum then grinding accessible outer surfaces square. They have sharp edges, so you have to be a bit careful with fingers. )Overall: it's not easy to clamp the corners of square things, so it probably depends on what you are clamping. These aren't bad, they are strong, and they get the job done, but I had to check and adjust a fair amount.

Great product and well priced
A friend’s father-in-law had purchased these and after using them, I had to purchase a set for myself. Great product and well priced.

Not 3D, not very square, but ok for household projects
I also have the Woodpeckers set, but decided to order these as I needed a bunch of extra squares for a complicated assembly.Pros:- About a third cheaper than the Woodpeckers (which are also made in the US)- Slightly larger clamping surface (which could be an advantage, for example, when working with plywood, or disadvantage for thin material, like frames).Cons:- In the set of 4 that I ordered, 2 weren't square- These are stamped and then machined - and only on two sides, but not the bottom - so they are really more like "2.5D-squares", not "3D-squares"- Machining quality is average, the surfaces in my set had scratches- Aluminum is very soft, probably 6063 or even 5052 (but certainly not 6061, or better). In this thickness, i.e. 3/16", it will bend, flex and distort under heavy clamping.- Sharp edges and corners - the first time I grabbed them I got a metal splinter - and then spent an hour filing off all sharp edges and corners- They aren't degreased from the factory (oily to the touch and smell from machining oil)The bottom line: after filing and cleaning, these should work fine for general household projects, but not for precision woodworking. If you hesitate which set to get, spend the cash and get the Woodpeckers.

Bought 4. ZERO were square.
Bought the four pack- all four were out of square. Completely worthless. Returning for refund.
