SuperScience STEM Instant Activities: Grades 4-6: 30 Hands-on Investigations With Anchor Texts and Videos

As an educator and small business owner that primarily deals with STEM education, this product is a great investment. There are so many great projects that not only align to the state standards, but also can be a starting point for curriculum development. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for fun and engaging hands-on activities.

This is a nice, organized set of hands-on activities that allow the kids to make predictions and observations (think like a scientist!). There is a folder with each activity with a short article, task cards (five duplicate double-sided cards explaining the 2 tasks) and 2 data sheets you can write on, copy, or just have them write answers in a notebook.I did not have a problem using the online url link and code. I used it to access a related short video for each activity and to print my data sheets (I could have copied them from each folder, but it was easier to print direct from online pdf), and bonus activities.I bought grades 1-3 and 4-6. My 2nd grader & 4th grader are doing both sets.Even though some are very basic, at minimal I know they are practicing recording observations and writing.You do need materials - so far I haven’t needed anything I didn’t have at home already.

I teach 4th grade and I brought these to school. The kids think they are fun. They're not something that we can work into the current curriculum but they are a great sub activity if you are prepared for it.Almost all of the activities require some prep work, so you'll need to do a little shopping beforehand. I have given the activities to the students when they have completed their classwork as something to work together on.They are definitely fun educational activities to keep around for filling time.

Complete lesson plans with worksheets, experiments and lots of information!! What more can you ask for?! These are our homeschool science curriculum this year! ❤️

The materials were nice quality. I was really hoping for more and deeper content. The activities are very simple. I really wish I could have seen a better preview before purchasing this item. A little disappointed because I have used Super Science magazines before in my classroom and love them, but this was lacking for me and probably won't be using it for my sixth grade classes.

These are fantastic and don’t require a ton of extra materials to do the “experiments” or anything. We have both kits and they are great for a range of ages.

This curriculum is AMAZING! I bought this to teach in a homeschool co-op program and I couldn't be happier. The hands-on experiments are simply awesome and age appropriate. They are also great to do in a group or alone. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to add STEM activities to their program.
