Suavecito Pomade Original Hold - 4 oz

I’ve been using this exact product for about 10 years now and I always make sure I have a tub of this on hand. I have used other products over the many years but always come back to this basic pomade. There is little to no scent to the pomade which is nice. It is water soluble so it washes off your hand with a quick soap and water wash and comes clean from your hair with a simple shampoo and leaves zero residue or product behind. The hold is medium and so is the shine. I’ve used other products that leave the hair with a matte dry look and I found myself gravitating back to this medium shine product. It is not at all as shiny as a gel and most certainly doesn’t leave your hair hard and crunchy like gel does. A tiny dab on your finger rubbed between your hands and spread throughout your hair goes a long way so this large tub will last you a long time; great value! Rub the product between your hands and through your hair and then go back through your hair with a fine or wide toothed comb to finish off your style.Can’t recommend this more highly. My boyfriend loves this product for his curly hair. It used to be a little less expensive but I guess everything has gone up in price recently. Other than that no complaints.

Incredible pomade, hair product, gel, whatever you call it. Smell is light, clean and non irritant to the nose.Easy to clean? Yes, it is water soluble, you'll be fine after a shower.Holds up well through the night at a party or a club. Working in the kitchen for 12 hours in a hot ass line.I used to get it for 10 bucks at my local barbershop until he started charging more, happened to have a gift card for amazon and bought it here, doesn't seem to bad for the price, if you make it last and retain a short hair cut, I think is a great bang for you buck. Little goes a long way here.I've been buying since 2013, trying multiple styles from them, I enjoy the classic one. Reminds me of my late wife when she would gift them to me, makes me feel joy and being 23 with her. 3 years she's gone now and I can't help to think of her when I wear this in the mornings.

I previously bought the scent marketed for women - it is called Suavecita but, for some reason, now that version is $19.99 and the scent marketed for men is $11.99 . The product ingredients are the same but the scent for women costs $8 MORE so I decided to try the scent marketed towards men. When I opened the jar the scent was very strong but since I only use a small amount of product the scent isn't all that noticeable once it is on my hair.I work in healthcare so I have to keep my hair pulled back so this really helps with the flyaways. I am disappointed that the scent marketed to women costs $8 more because I dont really like the scent used in Suavecito but I put up with it to save $8. Other than the scent, the product seems exactly the same... it performed the same as the Suavecita that I bought previously.I think that they should come up with an UNSCENTED version that doesnt cost more money.

Easy to use, easy to clean, smells terrific and works like a charm. Highly recommended.
