replacement
I did get a replacement from Sharp, however, I had about a 4 hour trip to USA to pick up the replacement clock. I feel it would be very reasonable if you would refund me about half of the cost and the total was 98.02.Ida

Not a great experience with this product so far
I could not recommend anyone buy this product as the price is not even close to the build quality of the product even without all the issues I am suffering from the unit I received. This product was sold to me as an Atomic clock, unfortunately it is only an atomic clock if you live in the USA as you will see from photo 4 the Time Zones you set are only based on USE time zones and phot 1 shows you it will only set to WWVB radio broadcast by the US Government's National Institute of Standards and Technology in Colorado. The unit I received was a pre-used clock although I paid full price of a new clock (you can see this from the scratches seen in photo 4 and 5).Also despite the set up notes on the box stating that the sensor takes 2xAAA batteries it actually takes 2xAA batteries (photos 2 and 3). There is also no way to hand the sensor outside unless you wrap the sensor in wire or string?

Pricey!
This clock has a nice display and the outdoor reader that comes with it is reliable. The only reason I did not give it five stars is the price. As the years go by these types of clocks should come down in price a bit. I have had several different brands of atomic clocks and out of all of these my original Sharp atomic clock in my kitchen has lasted the longest now at 14 years old with next to no problems with it. I am hoping that this new one will last just as long because several of my other atomic clocks only lasted a few years. So when weighing the options, buy a more expensive one and there is a good chance you will not have to replace it quite as soon.

a month later still no atomic time
Every day I push the button but it won't sync with atomic time. I have 2 other atomic clock from other company that work fine but not this one. Would not buy again.
