Not damaging for my kids hair, it washed right out when needed but also lasted all day! The colors showed up very bright. Only thing is instructions say slightly wet hair but I found it easiest wet wet.

It was easy to put in hair. Consistency of sidewalk chalk. Use more for deeper colors. Stays in during rain or sweat. Washes out easily with shampoo.

I've never used hair chalk before, so my first application was a little messy. You really do need to wet the hair well, so that the chalk "rubs" off onto the hair. Most of the colors were very vivid, except two that were very subtle. My 7 year old was thrilled and can't wait to show her friends at school. Picked this brand because it seemed safe for children. It did come off on my hairs while I was applying, but washed off easily with soap and water.

Not wild about these chalk sticks because they're messy and hard to use. I love the colors though. I would not recommend these for kids.

This is such a great set of hair chalk. My kids had so much fun mixing and matching colors. The colors go on so easily show up great on dark hair! It was so easy to use, they were able to manage their different "styles" and "themes" themselves. The best part for me is that it washes off cleanly and easily - everyone wins!

I tried this on my son’s curly dark brown hair and even with it WET wet, we had a very hard time seeing any color. Worked fine on a blond Barbie doll though. :-/

My kids had such fun trying out all the different colors of hair chalk and creating fun different looks for themselves. They were able to do it themselves without a lot of mess and when they didn’t like a look, they just rinsed out and started again. Perfect for end of school/summer fun and I appreciate that the ingredients are safe for kids. Great addition to the Fresh Monster Family!

Not worth it at all. Ruins the hair and the experience of having fun. Makes both parent and the kid frustrated to the max. The reason I gave two stars: it somewhat works a little bit it you break it in half and use the area that is broken but still crap.
