Conair Sound Therapy with Night Light

I have had a few issues with this. The biggest issue is that you only have the option to play the sounds on a timer and the longest setting is only an hour. It is extremely inconvenient to have to turn the machine back on every hour. Another issue is that the volume control is very touchy. It goes from barely audible to much to loud at the slightest touch of the dial. The variety of sounds is nice and the sounds themselves are fine.

There is no option to use this product for longer than one hour at a time. It does not fulfill the purpose for which I bought it: to soothe my infant through naps and through the night and prevent him from waking due to outside noise. If it turns off, he wakes at the slightest noise. Useless.

Oh, my word! Before purchasing this product, I should have given more weight to all the negative comments. Unfortunately, the sounds emitted from this item are anything but soothing. All sound selections sound like recordings of a recording of a recording and there is a constant "buzz" through all of them. All of the sounds were actually painful to listen to. In this instance, "you get what you pay for" certainly applies. So, back in the box it goes and back to Amazon.

The only real problem with this item is that it doesn't let you know that there is a 60 minute max. After 60 minutes, it shuts off, and that is the max time. So if you're still trying to fall asleep, there is nothing you can do other than get up and start it over. The last thing one wants to do when trying to fall asleep. If you fall asleep in under that time, then this is a good product for you. The white noise sound is very nice and soothing and the other options (although I prefer white noise) are very good as well. Good price.

this is my first sound machine. i like it. good price. good sound. some of the sounds i like more than others. the ocean waves are my favorite. the "sound clip" on some tend to be shorter so i notice the repeating easier...which makes it hard to fall asleep cuz i'm thinking too much lol. but hey maybe all sound machine do this, i don't know. i do like the time feature because i want it to turn off once i fall asleep. my only issue is the rain sound has more static or something but like i said i use some sounds more than others. worth it for the price in my opinion

I wouldn't recommend buying this sound machine on here. I purchased 2 for children that were coming to stay with me. When they arrived I plugged them in and they worked. A week or so later when the family arrived we realized that the timer on one of them doesn't work. I tried to exchange the product because I threw out the packaging and was told these are not returnable. I am not sure why. The timer when set into the 60 minute position only goes about 25 minutes. Total waste of money.

This is a good product. However it didn't last very long. Stood the test of times for a few months, with many hands and long usage; and then it stopped working. Have not been able to ascertain the reason why it stopped. However I would consider that when purchasing. It may however, last longer for you.

The sounds are tinny, and that alone would be enough to take a star off, but the biggest issue is the length of the sound sample. The sound samples are only 5-10 seconds long, so there is a noticeable repeat. In other words, it is not a soothing white noise at all but a repeated pattern of noise. I find myself mentally noticing each repeat in the pattern & being just as distracted as I would be from the noise I am trying to drown out.You may as well leave the radio on.

Volume dial is touchy and hard to get to the desired volume. Red "on "light is too bright. The different sounds are not of good quality. i.e. the rain had an annoying clicking, the thunder was not random enough, the summer night was creepy and noisy. Overall - not happy with this product - prefer the calming sound of my humidifier instead.
