Exactly what I needed

This Forstner was used to make flat bottom holes that were not all the way through a piece of 1/2 inch madrone wood. I confirmed that it is best to follow the recommended procedure: "Start drilling at low RPM and with the bit tip in contact with [the] work." Smooth sides and bottoms were produced. Package says "Made in Austria"

We needed this exact size to set magnetic door catches into the tops of some double doors. Couldn’t find any locally so we were happy these were available. Can’t speak to longevity since we only used it a few times, but it’s nice and sharp and made good clean holes.
