My best friend and I were getting Hunt A Killer through the original company, who sent them out once a month. The company has since sold, so we are so excited to be able to get them through Amazon. We are only on the first episode, but so far it has been just as good as the others. Highly recommend!

There are a lot of visual items, the items are unique and aesthetically pleasing! It does not look or feel cheap at all. I do recommend getting a large white board to write out time lines, character development and keep things organized. Because it’s a series with different chapters (all chapters rely on the previous ones) you do need a large area to write everything out. We love these so much and have multiple other ones! Don’t forget! If something isn’t adding up, go back and look at previous items! Have fun!

We brought this on vacation nwith our grown kids and really enjoyed playing as a group. We've played one of these games before (a wedding gift for my daughter) and enjoyed.it enough to buy a second. Nice little trinkets included that you can keep and enioy after solving the mystery. Lots of fun!

Unlike other HAK, this one involves solving a cold case.I liked that twist. As always I’ve found you can always pay these games forward which makes it a better value, imo, than games like Exit Game (which are also fun but require the use of scissors which makes it usually ungiftable).

This game was a lot of fun for our group of 7. It took us a good 7 nights to finish it. Love this company and their product. The box content is just incredible! This is the 3rd box set we have done and there will be more!

Lots of codes and puzzles to figure out. Lasts quite a while. Each box gives you more clues to solving the crime.

My family and I are great mystery lovers, and we were looking forward to spending a weekend solving a challenging mystery. While the game had potential, it gave away too much too early, and included a great deal of what felt like mindless busywork. (Letters upon letters of de-coding only a fifth grader would find interesting.) The integration with an internet-based system was a bonus, and that could have been used even more extensively. All in all, it wasn’t a complete bust, but it wasn’t what we’d expected and hoped for (esp at this price point).
