Easy Install, Works Perfectly, Fast Loading Times
I splurged on the 4TB capacity.Arrived with the card and heatsink boxes shrink wrapped nicely together. Packaging was very nice for each individual item.Installation was easy. Two things to note:1) When you insert the card at an angle as instructed, it kind of sticks up like that and you have to force the top end down into place. I was apprehensive about breaking it! But after watching an installation video, this is normal. So be aware of that.2) It doesn’t mention this step in the instructions, but again thanks to an installation video I was made aware: Remember to remove the clear film covering the blue tape on the bottom of the heatsink prior to installing it over the card.Performance: I loaded games I played recently onto the new card to see how it performs. Loading times for PS5 games were slightly faster on the Sabrent than on the factory console storage. The real game changer for me are PS4 game loading times. If you are like me, you still have a lot of PS4 games you want to play on the PS5, but have them on an external storage drive to save space on your PS5 console storage for PS5 games. Well, now that I have 4TB of storage, I don’t feel that restriction and put some of my PS4 games on the Sabrent, and wow! For example, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey takes about 2 minutes to load a ‘Continue Game’ at start up with a long loading bar at the bottom of the screen when I play it from my external drive. After transferring it to the Sabrent, I loaded my ‘Continue Game’ and there wasn’t even a loading bar at the bottom of the screen! It took about 20-30 seconds. And during the game, doing a ‘fast travel,’ the load takes about 10-15 seconds. Lightning fast!Console-wise, I don’t notice any extra heat or fan noise when playing games off the Sabrent. In summary, it’s expensive, but if you have the coin, go for it. Product works great and if you want the added capacity, this is the most convenient solution!

Does the job QUICKLY
I am not the most skilled or patient guy when it comes to tiny electronics. My hands are huge and I'm probably a better fit working with heavy equipment. Wouldn't say that I'm clumsy, just not all that delicate.Well this install was a breeze and the SSD does exactly what it's intended to do. I went with the 2TB and it's half full already. I would've gone with the 4TB but I need both kidneys. Finally feels like my PS5 can be used the way it was intended - with multiple games installed.

Improved PS5 M.2 Cooling
This works really well. The thermal strip is the right thickness to reach a standard m.2 drive and transfer heat... The whole plate started warming up relatively quickly as I installed and played a game (Mortal Combat X. Replaced cover while playing, then removed again to check afterwards), while the surrounding areas remained cool. Meaning this Sabrent heatsink was effectively drawing heat away from the M.2 SSD. I can't fault Sony too much as thier negative-pressure design works well enough to keep a drive from melting, and allows owners to use a variety of m.2 and heatsink installations. However, this integrated heatsink/cover combines airflow over a larger heat dissipating area, and the stock negative-pressure to remove heat from the drive bay itself.

Does what it's advertised to do
So I already had an aftermarket heatsink for my WD Black SN850 1TB nvme m.2 2280 SSD that I ordered off Amazon when I got the SSD for my PS5. At the time there wasn't very many options and the 1TB WD Black SN850's with on-board heatsinks were either all sold out or going for a 100% mark up. Thus I purchased an aftermarket chinese heatsink built for going in a PC with lots of airflow. When I went to remove the SSD when this Sabrent heatsink, built specifically for the PS5, came in you wouldn't believe how hot that heatsink was. Even with a a layer of thermal pads sandwiched between the heatsink and the SSD. This Sabrent heatsink does what it's intended to do. It creates more metallic (aluminum) surface area for the heat to disperse into and away from the SSD. While still utilizing the negative pressure design of the PS5 to remove heat from the expansion card port. The fan also draws new air over the top of the heatsink as well which helps keeps temperatures in check. My dislikes are that the thermal pad provided and pre-installed to the heatsink feels less like a thermal pad and more like a foam one. The thermal pad only goes on the top of the SSD with this design as well. So if you have a double-sided SSD you might want to find a better solution. My last gripe about the thermal pad is its length. It's short enough to only cover a 80mm long SSD. So if for some reason you have a 110mm drive you might want to buy a different thermal pad as well.

Easy installation, easy to use
It might have been harder to install if I hadn't watched a video on this product before I bought it but all in all it was an easy install and it is automatically recognized by the PS5 once installed. Nice purpose built product. It works well for the PS5 at $100 less than the comparitive WD Black but with similar performance numbers both in quick use and heat disapation.

Fits like a GLove
I didn't quite realize what I'd gotten when I ordered it. I got my SSD from somewhere else since people are marking them up to much here and looked around for a PS5 friendly heat sink because lots of them it's hard to tell what size they are and if they'll be a problem. This perfectly replaces the metal door that covers the SSD slot in your PS5. You pop off the original door, install your SSD, and then just put this over the top of it screwing it to where the metal door was. Fits perfectly, flush, and simple to install.Great product.

PS5 SSD - Perfect
Purchase was to expand the storage on my PS5. Mission accomplished. I ordered with 2 day prime shipping and got it on the east coast from the west coast (US) in 1 day. Packaging was great, the instructions and the screwdriver provided were perfect for the PS5. I will note that I had to use youtube to figure out how to open the PS5 but that is understandable. I got the rated speed once put into the unit. Completely satisfied at this point. If there any issues I will update this review.

Perfect solution for the PS5
I originally bought a generic heat sink, which I will add was well engineered and did fit in the PS5 bay. When installing the NVMe in this heat sink I felt it was very snug and would get hotter given the lack of airflow, so I purchased the Sabrent. The package arrived and unboxing was easy. The quality of the product is second to none. Very weighty and a solid heat sink.Installation was a breeze, removed my original heat sink, reinstalled the NVMe, put the Sabrent heat sink on and fastened everything back up. PS5 fans are running noticeably cooler since changing.Don’t faff with others, just get it.

Perfect 2-in-1 replacement
This directly replaces the blanking plate, but features an integrated heatsink that makes direct contact with the NVMe.

No other PS5 heatsink can beat this.
The perfect heatsink in that it removes the need for the existing metal plate to be reattached.Better cooling in tests than all others.

Great Heatsink for PS5
If you want a great sink that works with PS5, but don't want to pay to much for the SSD that comes with Heatsink, this will do.
