Decent enough but not solid wood
Doesn't claim to be solid wood but I thought for the price it would be better. Unless you're using a Bolero stand, you're going to have to either use screws or put in your own bolt inserts. The "wood" is hollow so there's just about enough to grip onto - however if you over tighten or unscrew and re-screw you'll probably have to pack it out with some kind of putty/resin/glue to give the screw something to grip onto. Very slidey top. Ended up gluing a faux leather square onto it. May not matter to some people, but after a few days having things skitter all over it I had to do something.
