Bought as a gift for my dad for birthday they aesthetically look good and feel light weight I had to add another insole as the insole could do with being a bit thicker inside but as they are removable I was able to put an insole under the black one inside it’s a shame as I would say it was turn it from a good trainer to a great trainer if the insole was thicker hence 4starsI do not think this trainer would withstand heavy running as the soles do not appear to be rubberI can’t comment on comfort yet as his birthday is next week but I’m sure he will be happy with them something breathable for the summer all in all I’m happy with the purchaseUpdate my dad says they are really comfortable and nice and light he’s very pleased with them

As mentioned above, the trainers look great, are light and comfortable.The sole and insole are made completely of semi-hard molded foam, Not rubber as in the description, So I doubt they will provide much grip on smooth surfaces, and will likely lose the initial comfort/support quickly.Overall construction feels cheap even with their nice appearance.

The standard of quality of these shoes is exceptionally poor. It is insulting to expect anyone to accept these shoes as a reasonable product for the purpose they are being sold to fulfill. It is as though they have been made for a life size mannequin, which I suspect is the only type of character that would find them fit-for-purpose.The upper is made from a lightweight, stretch fabric, which could be good for a running shoe, but it is doubtful it would stay in condition for anything other than strolling. The most alarming thing about the shoes is the sole. It is made from some type of soft rubber/plastic material, which is also very soft and will cushion well, but offers no traction at all. The laces are for aesthetics, which means keeping the shoes in place is dependent on the rigidity of the upper, which is too soft to do so. The shoes' inners are totally flat, offering no arch support at all. The only useful purpose for these shoes is as a house slipperThey shoes cost 25 pounds, which is much, much too much for a product this poor. If I were offered these shoes gratis, the offer would be declined.In more than 20 years as an Amazon customer, this is the worst product, of any kind, I have received !
