Givenchy Gentleman For Men. Eau De Toilette Spray 3.3 Ounces

I have used this ORIGINAL Gentleman fragrance since 1974. This a lighter version, but even better than the original. It has an elegant scent and the patchouli is a classic. It has great longevity and smells great after 8 hours.

I really enjoy the smell - maybe not for everyone.

The reviews saying this is fake have no idea what they're talking about. Amazon themselves only sells authentic fragrances. This has been reformulated several times so if it's not like how you remembered it then that's why. The box has been changed and maybe the sticker on the bottle is a little uneven but blame it on Givenchy and not Amazon. Anyway, here's my review:This is really nice. It's an old-school kind of scent and it's no doubt tamed since I feel it's holding back a lot. Wish it had a little more kick but compared to the scents currently on the market this is still strong and lasts a long time. It's a clean, slightly sweet probably the honey, slightly dirty and bitter probably because of the patchouli but it comes off smooth and pure class all the way.

While in London, I noted the fragrance of a close friend. (Do guys ask each other what that cologne is they’re wearing…? - oh well). So he told me and showed me. Bought some and had too many compliments, so I used it more sparingly. Didn’t stop the compliments. Figured “oh well, guess I’ll just have to live with it.” Not every person can wear the same fragrances, as it seems to change from person to person. This cologne works for me and I will not change. So try it and see if it fits your chemistry. NOTE: It might cost more, but it lasts along time; a long time on your body, and a long time in the bottle. Thanks Givenchy!

I use to wear this in the 70's and loved it. . Fragrance is the same, but for some reason this fragrance didn't last long when applied.

I have been wearing this fragrance for years. I have purchased at least three bottles of it so I know what I am dealing with. This particular product makes me think it may have been a cheap copy. Why? Because, though it has the correct fragrance, I spray it on and literally, within 5 minutes, I can't tell I have even touched it. This bottle seems to have the correct label and on the bottom is a clear adhesive label stating Eau De Toilette Spray Men with I suppose a batch #2N01. The previous bottle is labeled the same with the bottom sticker reading 3K02. My first bottle (all three have silver labels) has a label completely around the bottle and on the back says vaporisateur natural spray,,,,,,,,90% Vol. Parfums Givenchy S.A. 92300 Levallois-Paris-France. I DID purchase the first two bottles from either Perfumes.com or FragranceNet.com I'd be perfectly satisfied if the fragrance just lasted longer. I have sprayed the other two UNDER my shirt on many occasions and gone an entire day and while the fragrance deteriorated naturally, it did so over a period of an entire day-not just a few minutes. I hope this helps someone. I have never "badmouthed" any product from Amazon so you know this one is a disappointment.

I have been wearing Givenchy Gentleman since it came out. Before it was not a spray bottle. 1975, I believe it was. Just finished a bottle and decided to order another one. Like to keep a spare one, but this year will go overboard and purchase to more!I 💕 love this cologne, but don't recommend it because I like to be unique. Have always keep it a secret, its unique patchouli and scence makes it lovable. Short story, it was a favorite among my female classmates, but unknown to the guys. If you ask me what I'm wearing, my response is I don't remember.Amazing and at a great price! Again "The Original".

It’s a classic for a reason…. It’s a fresh and bright take on a patchouli heavy scent and it’s perfect for any mature man. It’s more of a dressed up or polo shirt fragrance and is signature scent worthy as it’s something that could be worn year round in my opinion. Out of all of my collection which consists mostly of designer and niche fragrances it’s one of my cheapest, and definitely in my top ten. It projects extremely well and is a beast mode fragrance lasting well over 8 hrs.It’s also worth noting that this is the original Givenchy Gentleman, not Gentleman Givenchy. I haven’t tried the latter but I’ve been told it’s actually a reformulation and therefore a different fragrance from this one.
