Scorpion Solid Outer Shell Helmet in Injected Polycarbonate

I bought this to replace my 8 year old Nolan helmet. I've got a really expensive Shoei Neotec but I wanted another cheaper helmet for commuting and local stuff. I tried on a few variations in my local shops and this Scorpion helmet felt better than some others around the same price, or ones that were more expensive. This same helmet is around £30 more on-line through various suppliers and so I went for this one at just under £140. It doesn't come with a Pinlock visor insert so I had to buy this separately. The chin bar button works very easily (under the front chin bar) and unlike some other more expensive flip up helmets this opens up and clicks back down very easily with one hand. The visor was a bit fiddly to remove for the first time when I fitted the Pinlock insert but now I know how to do it it should be easier to do. A few other features I like about this are that the tinted drop down sun visor button is on the side and not on the top. This means if you're riding at high speeds your hand doesn't fly off when you actuate the button. The tinted visor also comes down nice and low too. The main visor opens really easily with just a slight flick of your left thumb and then clicks down really firmly. It also comes fitted with an elasticated chin curtain which stops wisps of cold air from getting up inside. It looks removable too so I'll take it off when the weather improves. The only slight niggle is that the cheek pads make me look like I'm permanently blowing a kiss, but hopefully they'll compress a bit given some time. Overall though this is a great helmet.

I have been riding motorbikes for more than 30 years and my recommendation is always to be seen while on the road and I can assure you that this helmet fulfils that criteria very well indeed.

Casco de muy alta calidad, poco peso, fácil de colocar con cierre rápido, tiene para colocar pinlook, cómodo, eso sí ruido un poco alto, tenemos que tener en cuenta que es un modular por lo que es normal el ruido, lo utilizo en una HORNET 600cc y perfecto. El servicio de venta INCREÍBLE, tuvimos que cambiar por otra talla y nos lo mandaron sin problemas, atención magnífica.

Es muy bonito, totalmente hermético, fácil de poner y quitar. La mentonera se le sale a veces al quitarlo.

Ottimo casco lo utilizzo quotidianamente da 2 anni. Non calza moltissimo, ma dopo un paio di mesi si adatta perfettamente alla forma della testa.

Scorpion 920 modular por 67€ ? Que más puedo decir. Quizás la única pega es que comparado con otros dos Scorpion integrales que uso también habitualmente y de la misma talla, la cinta del cierre de la barbilla, en este, es más corta por lo que me aprieta un poco. El casco es totalmente recomendable, los sistemas integrados de comunicación, caben perfectamente y el cierre/apertura, es fácil de accionar.En conjunto un casco de gama alta americano, a un precio de chino.
