Boiron Calendula Burn Ointment for Relief from Minor Burns from Cooking, Friction, or Sunburns - 1 oz

Very good. It is a lotion and absorbs well, leaving no residue or greasy feeling. It does a great job at providing relief and doesn't contain any ingredients that interact badly with radiation treatment.

I had burned my forearm, the inside tender portion of my right arm from a splatter of boiling liquid on my arm. It went from the inside of my wrist to my elbow and around parts of the sides, too. The pain was almost unbearable the 2nd day, far worse than day 1 had been. The doctor said it would leave a bad scar and was in some parts 3rd degree. After a several days, I was recommended this cream by a friend who had used it on her sunburns in the past. I decided to give it a try. The prescribed cream had to be ordered by my pharmacy and would take a few days to come in. This stuff came in first (next day) and I used it several times a day on my burn and skipped the costly prescription cream. Within a week, the burned skin had fallen away and the arm was healing crazy quick. With no scars yet. Amazingly, 3 weeks after the burn, I had to go in for a procedure and had forgotten about the burn entirely . The n urse went to insert the IV in my forearm and it hurt worse than a normal IV. When my husband came in and saw where the IV was at, he gasped and said, "Doesn't that hurt? It is where the burn was at!" He was right. Because I couldn't see it anymore, I had forgotten it was there. Fast Forward to 3 months and there is no sign there ever was a burn there at all. Highly recommend this for burns once you have sought medical advice on them!

This ointment might be one of the best products I have ever purchased. I had early stage frostbite on my toes and a burn from my arm brushing against a hot pan and this ointment took away the pain after one use. So happy with this ointment!

Helped a lot even though I started applying it one week after the burn happened

My husband sun-burned the top of his feet very badly and we tried everything, nothing worked. I bought this cream because I've used their arnica cream for my arthritis, and it works. We were pleasantly surprised with some real healing, and it's almost gone. It is a bit greasy like Vaseline but just wear sox.

My husband had a pan in the oven and ended up grabbing the handle without an oven mitt so the WHOLE palm, fingers everything was bright red and burning continuously. We coated his hand in this ointment, then wrapped gauze around and lightly taped it up for the night. He woke up and the burning was all gone, and through the next day we kept putting cream on it and he had absolutely NO BLISTERS. It was as if it didn't happen (of course he doesn't feel that way since he is who burnt his hand) But he calls this "Miracle Cream" now.A staple in our first-aid kit!

I ordered this on the day that I burned my finger on a very hot pan. It arrived the very next day and I applied it immediately to the burn, which was starting to blister. It dried the blister up so it never filled up and busted This is now a staple in my kitchen.
