Martinson Single Serve Coffee Capsules, Jolt of Joe, 24 Count

Will not buy it again as instead of using water or other non-toxic solvent to remove the cafeine it uses methlyene chloride (think the old ZIP STRIP). Recommended deafes are Folger and Gevalia. I have drank decafe all of my life; the two mentioned have low or no caffeine and have a good taste.

I was attracted to the price. Also, in Decaf, it is hard to find flavored versions, and they are mostly Hazelnut or Vanilla, like this one. I was using another brand, (Van Houtte) and so I tried this. The flavor is a little off, a little bit of an noticeable aftertaste. No that bad, but inferior to the others I have tried, if you have newer tried this type, I would buy the smallest quantity and see if you like it. So three stars, not bad, cheaper at present, but not nearly best.

I am extremely disappointed in this product. Four of the seven pods Iused did not brew properly. The water flowed back out of the top of the capsules and all over the coffee brewer never going into the pod itself. And yes there was a hole in the top and in the bottom of the pod. I have only had this happen one other time with one other brand. To be fair to the company I also purchased their hazelnut cake ups in these work fine. But as I said this did not work and I will be throwing the rest of them out.

OH MY Goodness! This is delicious to the senses. I was just expecting a nice bit of flavor but Oh No! It smells up the kitchen with yumminess!!!! I put in my regular creamer and, we’ll, it’s like a vaca!! I’m in love. I bought this for my later day in case caffeine was an issue and I didn’t know it. Know I REALLY want it in regular and can’t find it. Wah.

The plastic at the bottom of the K-Kup is very heavy plastic, and the spike at the bottom of the Keurig kup holder can't puncture it. The plastic the sides of the kup are made of is much softer plastic. I love the coffee, so I got in the habit of slamming the lid down on the Kup hard so the bottom got punctured. Today I did that, and the bottom of my Keurig broke. Too many slams I guess. Too bad a coffee I really like is made in a defective form. Too bad I can't use my Keurig now.

Best decaf I have found that is robust, dark, but not "burnt" tasting! Hard to find a dark roast decaf that is not weak tasting! Subscribe & Save makes this a great deal!

I received a sample of the hazelnut vanilla and loved it so much I have it on subscribe and save now! I haven't had any of the problems pthers have had with the cups but I do notice a layer of fine grounds in the bottom of my cups... Nothing to get up in arms about, I just swirl it around to re-dissolve them and bottoms up! 😁 Overall, very tasty and well worth the auto delivery!

EDIT: I'm knocking this down a couple of stars because of inconsistent flavor in the second package of these I bought. Some were good, some were terribly bitter and some were just plain bland. I drink this coffee black, so it's easy to note the inconsistent flavor.When you get a good batch, I think this coffee has the best flavor and aroma of the other vanilla/hazelnut decaf coffees I've tried. (Van Houtte, Green Mountain). It's perfectly fine decaf coffee in K-cup format at a decent price.

This is now my favorite decaf. I've been looking long and hard for a decaf coffee that actually had boldness to it and this one delivered. Not only will I order it again, but have already done so many times. Martinson makes good coffee.

Family favourite. Tastes great. Glad to be able to recycle the cup portion.
