Worked perfectly for trip to Ireland, bought 2!

It comes apart to make 2 different kinds of plug ins. I used it in France and Italy works great.

I’m glad I bought another 2 pack that were different. This one would not fit the outlets in Barcelona, Spain. The quality is great.

Easy to use and many adapters

Unless you have a power converter that steps down the wall outlet's 110V to 220 here at home to run some tests, as well as a multimeter to do some measuring, I would not risk this or any other travel devices. Unfortunately all of Amazon's offerings are no-name brands so it's impossible to know which one is legit. Luckily I have both the power converter and the multimeter so I can test the device before flying to Europe or Asia.When I tried this, it did not step the voltage down from 220V, rather it just passed it through. So if a 110V only device was attached to this, it would have been fried. I couldn't believe when I saw the voltmeter reading! The good news is that most electronics have adapters that work with both 110V and 220 V so you just need to buy some cheap wall adapters plugs.
