I wish all weapons optics manufacturers shipped these on their units as OEM gear. The plastic caps with skinny shock cord are a waste of manufacturing capacity.

Best scope cover I have found! This not not your standard pick it up at the local sporting goods store one-size-fits-all cover by any means. The XP6 series is very thick and will help protect your investment. I have several of these and have would recommend them to anyone looking to protect their favorite scope. I have one tip to offer, measure you scope and if between sizes definitely order the next size up. These covers have about 2 inches of material sewn at each end so they actually surround the objective and eyepiece. Yes, they stretch, but being close on length will make for a tough pull to get the scope in it. Also, make sure you have enough length and diameter if using scope covers (flip up style) definitely order one size larger on length and diameter. Watch the sizing chart...look at the Scopecoat website, there are 3 different dimension for the size large, so make sure you order the right one. I have a scope with a 44mm objective and ordered this size (14 inches by 52mm objective) as I use flip up covers. By intentionally going slightly longer and bigger diameter I got exactly what I wanted...the ability to easily pull the Scopecoat on and off without being tough on the flip covers while fulling protecting my scope. Couple minutes of measuring and checking sizes will get you perfect protection and ease of use! Well worth the money!

But not great either. I am always very careful with my things, but I have to say the front stitching on this pad started to rip when I began slipping the cover over the scope. Cheap thin thread was used. Still, overall this is a nice scope cover. Not cheap or flimsy. Just a word of advice to look out for, BEFORE YOU ORDER, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ROOM UNDERNEATH YOUR OBJECTIVE BELL, BETWEEN THE BOTTOM OF THE BELL & THE TOP OF THE BARREL. SOOOOO MANY people get into the habit (as do I) of getting the absolute lowest scope rings they can physically get away with, because of the whole "keep the scope as low as possible to the rifle" bullcrap, and guess what that did; prevented the scope cover from being able to slip over the objective bell lol. I'll just use this for another scope I guess :)

Perfect fit for a 13.8” long (50mm objective) scope. Have to stretch it just a bit, and it works great. Covers tall turrets.It definitely has enough stretch for a 57mm objective or a 15” scope.
