No butt flap. Should have read more clearly.
Nice weight, good fit. Typical Carhart quality. No complaints there.I was disappointed to discover that this suit does not have a butt flap, but rather a butt slit. I was all set to write a scathing review, but in close reading the advertisement see that it was my carelessness that is to blame. For the record, the butt slip is not great. It does not open far enough to give me the confidence to feel I'm not going to drop a deuce in the leg of my suit or cause some other unfortunate and likely unrecoverable problem. Will I wear them? Yes. Like my cheaper suits these replace, however, I'll have to continue to get half naked at 0300 in the morning to take a dump. Not ideal in deep Vermont winter. In the meantime I'll keep looking for a product that works well and allows me to keep from freezing when nature calls.

Already ordered more!!!!
Review of Red Large Regular FitI am slowly becoming a Carhartt fan across the board. This is very comfy to wear as an adult onesie, under a robe, under coveralls, under jeans, or just around the house. The ribbed cuffs double over nicely at the wrist and ankle. The stitching is well done and the buttons are secure. The generous opening in the back was bothersome so I sewed that up on the outside and the inside. The bottom two buttons kept inviting a game of peekaboo so I sewed them up in the same manner.I'm 5'8 and a rugged 190 lbs. The dryer has helped the fit in my favor, but still can reach top shelf things around the house without discomfort.I tried Hanes and Indera in a Large as well as a Medium in Carhartt. The other brands aren't the weight, nor the quality, and the Carhartt Medium wasn't as generous for my husky build.

Great for indoors when lounging around
I moved back to the UK in 2013, and once we got into Fall and Winter, I soon realized that even indoors, the house can be a bit chilly. My house is over 400 years old and it stays plenty warm, the damp and chill never seem avoidable and I needed something to wear around the house that wouldn't be heavy, bulky or too warm to move around it. I came across this onesie from Carhartt and decided to give it a try. man, am I glad I did! This is perfect for what I needed it to do. I have worn this thing so much the last couple of years, that's it's time to get a couple more.like I said. It is very comfortable to wear by itself. I'm a large guy, 6'1" and 265, and it fits me nicely. Easy to put on clothes over it. It doesn't bunch up or ride up your arms or legs.It is very durable and has lasted considering how much I've worn it. How much? If you added all the time I've actually had it on. I'd have to say it totals perhaps the equivalent of 7 months! All I can tell you is you live in a cold (or not so cold) climate and are looking for something to wear indoors that's comfortable to wear and easy on your pocket? Get one.

A good union suit, but the buttons come loose too easily
This is a good union suit for the price. I am 6'2" and weigh around 275, so I ordered the XXL size. Since I am long through the torso, it seems like when I pull it on over my shoulder that the overall length of it is a bit lacking for my torso length. If you tend to be more "leggy" or under 6 feet tall, it will probably be proportioned better for you. There is a problem with the buttons wanting to come loose within the first or second wearing. I've had to have my wife sew 3 of them back on already and a 4th one is now coming loose. With so many buttons on a union suit, it's a shame that these are coming loose so soon. It is an industry wide problem with buttons coming loose on garments, but this is way too fast. I am waiting for the day when the garment industry finds a way to better secure buttons on all garments. Who wants to spend time sewing them back on simply because they were not well attached in the first place. That matter aside, this is a good union suit that will keep you warm and comfy. Just watch out for any buttons coming loose and sew them on more securely or you'll lose them.

Awful and Disappointing Carhartt Product
I am the husband these were bought for. At one point in my life Carhartt was a name of quality, but now they are nothing. I bought 2 pair and the button holes did not hold the button so the button hole had to be sewn 1/4 closed. these bought it December 2016 and here it it March 2017 and hole a beginning to appear. THESE ARE A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT! I only wish there was something less that a one to rate these at.
