This worked absolutely fine for a couple of months but then someone closed the pocket door and I guess the latch fell and now we are locked out. Trying to get the door open and might have to result in cutting off the bottom piece through the sliver that we can access.

Looks good on the bathroom barndoor..... went on smooth, and is working as planned. Not a secure type lock, but one that keeps the door from sliding, and stops people from comming in.. but it should not be used, say on a bedroom door as a lock.. its easy to get past, and not sturdy enough a forced entry.
