SEIKOWatch for Men - Essentials - with Day/Date Calendar, Stainless Steel Case/Bracelet, and 100m Water-Resistant

So far I've been wearing it for over three weeks. It is accurate within ONE second over 1,800,000+ seconds. It's solidly built, yet comfortable to wear. The Day-Date feature was what I wanted because I always forget the day of the week. The design is simple and utilitarian, yet quite refined. The price was better than reasonable at $120.

Gorgeous, understated classic elegance. Everything about this watch says elegant, but in a sophisticated and understated way. It's not ostentatious in any way but it looks like a million bucks. I own numerous timepieces, from actual dive watches (i.e., ISO rated), sporty, classy, dressy, chunky/clunky, funky, etc. This particular design is a classic round, thin, "adult," watch. The words that keep coming to mind are Elegant. Classic. Stylish. Sophisticated. Not 'in your face,' with bling or gaudiness. Subtle beauty, thin, slim, right-sized, etc. Nice brushed/polished combination on the bracelet. Surprisingly, this watch looks awesome in the dark. It has excellent lume on the hands and on the tips of the bar indices. That was a nice surprise and very functional. I got this on Amazon for $114 during Black Friday. It's $215 elsewhere. I love it!

Got for everyday use, always on my wrist. Is my third SEIKO in 40 years. First was Quartz basic battery operation lasted for 30 years, replaced battery about every 5 years. Second was Solar, lasted about 10 years. Cost to replace Solar battery came to about $100, not so cost effective. Decided to go back to this SUR430 basic battery operated. Looks good, keeps perfect time, had the band sized at jeweler for $10.NOTE: See reviews where date.. is in foreign language, yes it can be set that way. However, you can set in English, choosing month or day display. Have had SEIKO for so many years know how to adjust. The stem has two settings, pull out all the way, watch will stop, you can turn to set time. There is a second setting in the middle when pulling in or out, is a very slight feeling, you’ll get used to it. In this setting turn forward or backward will change the day/date to your preference. When done push stem in all the way to complete your setting. When doing these date adjustments make sure time is set after 12:00 AM not 12:00 afternoon.

The Seiko SUR432 is a beautiful elegant and simple watch with day and date functions in English and Spanish. The bracelet adjustment is simple and will fit large and small wrists. Overall really happy with the look of this watch!

Works perfectly right out of the box. I've had at least four of these Seiko watches since the 1960's and had to physically break each one to get a new one.

The watch is very nice for a dresser look. My husband loves it.

This is a good, solid watch. It looks good on and the watchband size is easy to adjust, if needed.

The name Seiko has taken a hit since years ago when Seiko meant quality. The first watch to arrive was defective - couldn't change the day function. The second version changes date but can't keep accurate time - probably needs adjustment at a jewelers shop $$$. Thankfully Amazon looks after their customers and makes thing right. Unfortunately, Seiko watches have dropped in value as an esteemed brand.
