Best mug ever
Perfect for vehicle or whenever you need an insulated, covered mug. Love the stainless steel interior, the exterior color, the excellent seal, and that it holds 12 oz.

If you want your beverage hot!
Spent a lot of money on a variety of cups ( electronic included) that "promised" to keep your beverage hot...but did not.Decided to try this camp style cup and WOW! Keeps the beverage nice and hot, lid fits securely with an opening for sipping that closes to retain the heat. It also hand washes up like new. A win, win!

Great camp mug
This mug is great and serves double duty for coffee around the campfire or for pouring a cup of water or beer that will stay cold quite a while. I bought this to replace one that I left in Banff, and while functionally the same same as the previous, the speckling on the outside is much less than the first one (this is very shiny green with a few white specks and the previous was a little less shiny and had a lot of speckling which I think looked more the part) and the lid doesn’t fit quite as snug. These are minor grips though and overall it’s pretty tough to beat this mug.

Buyer be aware this product is inferior!
Chips horribly! It's only been handwashed too. I've had other Miirs for years (black with a company logo),I thought I would treat myself for my birthday and get a white one. It's too late to return. Buyer beware!

Poor handle design
In addition to this Miir Camp Cup, I also own a 14oz Yeti Rambler. In my review of the Rambler (link at the end of this review), I mention the Miir as having an advantage over the Rambler in its form factor if you are grabbing it like a tumbler (i.e., the Rambler is very wide and squatty); however, using the handle on this mug is not a good experience due to its design. The attached photos show the Miir side-by-side with the Yeti. The Miir handle is both thinner and narrower, which makes it much less comfortable to hold. In addition, the handle has an angle to it, that I can find no other reason for other than aesthetics. Because the handle is wider at the top, the mug tends to tip away from your hand when you pick it up, which I find extremely annoying.Although the Miir holds 2 more ounces than the Yeti, it is a lighter-weight construction. In addition to the smaller handle, it has a thinner lid with a smaller pour opening and slider. The overall weight of the Miir is about 25% less than the Rambler. If you have very small hands or otherwise find the Rambler to be too unwieldy, you might give this mug a try, but my recommendation is to get the Yeti. Best gift!
I bought this for my husband and he has been using it for a year or so. It's his favorite insulated mug, and he is constantly using it. It keeps drinks hot/cold just like when we first bought it. The lid is a great plus because it helps avoid spills. We have a two-story house and we can run up and down the stairs with these and not have to worry about spillage! I would recommend this mug to anyone, we have three now.
