My mom sometimes needs to use a bedtime and this one is of good quality and works well. I had previously bought a smaller and cheaper bed pan (from another vendor) when my sister was bedridden- it was awful! This pan is made of durable plastic and if you’re not going to use it for years, I would recommend it over the more expensive metal versions.Their liners are a must! If you are new to this, make sure to first place the pan downwards into the bag, tie it closed on the outside under the pan and don’t knot it. Just use a bow knot - That way, you just pull the bow tie loose and close the bag around the contents. Once you secure the bag on the bottom (not inside of the pan but on the outside, you can push the bag into the inside of the pan to catch the waste. Oh, and don’t forget to buy the urine absorbers to avoid spilling urine all over. The liners make changing the bedpan so much easier and sanitary. This companies liners work well! No spills and no mess.

Life saving

My 103 year old grandma is on hospice and I found these and our family absolutely loved having them!! The ease of the bag with the absorbent gel pad just made life easier for us over her last two months of life. We even used them with a fractured bed pan

Those with problems with control might find this useful in a vehicle. A CDL truck driver for 20 years told me to the effect you're not an experience driver unless you have soiled yourself.

Very sturdy great for traveling fits under the seat for when needed. It would be great for traveling with grandbabies or the elderly. Especially when taking long trips and your miles from the next town. I got this because I have bladder issues. Most of the time because I am on a water pill I have to go more often than others and when in stretch where no rest stops this has saved me. Like I said it fits under the seat until needed. The pads absorb liquids the liners make easy cleanup and disposal.

Do yourself a favor and buy adult diapers and use those. If you are a caregiver of someone terminal, for the love of God please do not put them through pure torture of using a bed pan. Frustrating to them and the the caregiver.

Unfortunately I had to purchase this for a loved one. Let me say, this is so easy and no mess. Put the bag over it place the pad inside. When finished pull the bag ties together and done. Very happy with this purchase.

Too small even for a child. And the plastic broke under the weight of an adult. Given the price there is no excuse for producing and selling such a poor quality product.
