im using android headunit for honda accord 8th gen. and it works as expected. no delays and easy connectivity.

It doesnt work with none android head units and the uconnect doesnt work in my 2019 Jeep Wrangler.

I think that all the bad reviews for this dongle are from people that did not read the description of what this thing needs to work properly. This will work if you have an aftermarket head unit running Android. I personally have a EONON head unit running some ancient version of Android. This WILL NOT work on your stock head unit that came with your car, you must have a head unit running Android. The Install was easy and as follows, this will depend on whether or not you have a front USB port on your head unit. I didn't, so I pulled out the head unit, plugged the dongle into the back usb port, and ran a USB C wire through my dash and out through where the hand brake is. The next step involves downloading a semi-suspicious APK from "http://121.40.123.198:8080/AutoKit/AutoKit.apk". I was able to do this by parking near my house, connecting to my WiFi and typing that address in. It will install the AutoKit app. At this point, you'll plug in your phone and the application will automatically load into Android Auto. Like others have mentioned, you may need to look in developer options and enable usb debugging if it doesn't work. I also have an iPhone for my work phone, so I tested out CarPlay as well. Worked flawlessly after accepting the prompt on the phone. Overall everything has worked out fine with this adapter. It has brought new life into my old slow Android head unit. Again the most important thing is reading the directions, and verifying your head unit is compatible.

You have to download & copy files to your navi SD card, locating files autokit.zip file on internet was difficult, but once you got all the files the rest is easy. Happy with the purchase

Excelente producto para poder conectar mi iPhone mediante CarPlay en un estéreo Android, únicamente les recomiendo son 2 cosas. 1) que primero descarguen la app antes de hacer el pedido del producto, porque es necesario, 2) ya que tengan el producto les recomiendo que revisen la configuración en la app y modifiquen la velocidad del producto cuando este conectado a uno que se llama "ajuste" para que trabaje bien, sino se traba un poco y con este ajuste ya trabaja al 100 sin problemas. Pero lo super recomiendo.
