Listed as compostable online, but actual item says biodegradable. These are no the same. Biodegradeable cannot be composted. Do not recommend if you specifically need compostable. Title for this product needs to be changed ASAP.

I bought these to use in my RV and while I'm not displeased with the purchase, I'm not over the moon. I bought these as a general purpose garbage bag, that was the wrong choice. Anything even remotely pokie or something with an edge will put a tear right through this. However!! These are great for sorting recyclables, which, if you have a dump, these are for you. They are also for food trash or any item that is soft. They hold in liquids really well as long as there is NOTHING that can puncture the bag. I will also add that the bottom of the bag is not sealed in-line and is sealed by tucking and folding the plastic in the center. This makes a big difference as far as usable volume of the bag goes. A flat bottom allows trash to settle into those corners. With this one I struggle to twist tie the top. All in all....a decent purchase for the amount you get.

I was excited to buy a biodegradable version of these bags, but for comparison purposes bought 8 gallon Glad Bags as well. These bags are pinched to a point at the bottom versus most bags which are sealed flat. As a result you have a triangular volume instead of square and they DO NOT fit well in typical kitchen trash receptacles. There is no way these would hold 8 gallons of trash. Disappointed as they really are useless for the purpose described.

I would buy these again. It’s not thin and pretty sturdy. The photos are of recycling trash and I filled it up with a ton of recycling including 5-6 small glass jars, cardboard and recyclable to-go containers and cans and plastic bottles. I was still able to make two knots at the top. We have a small rental vacation house and a large 13 gallon takes about a week to fill up. We would rather take the trash out more often then have the smell of the trash lingering since it takes longer to fill the bag. Happy these bags are also made of biodegradable material. I have trouble finding this size bag sometimes, so finding a pack of 100 for under $10 was perfect, delivered straight to my home. They're just right for my under-the-sink trash can in the kitchen, and made from corn starch. Overall win 5/5!
