I bought the Avery Margin Ultra Tabs (2.5” x 1”) because I hit a very specific wall that I don’t think most planners are designed to solve. I wanted a place to track only important dates — nothing decorative, nothing crowded, nothing that visually overwhelms me. I have ADHD, and while there are endless planners on the market, truly minimalistic ones are surprisingly hard to find. Most of them add so many sections, colors, prompts, and “productivity features” that they end up doing the opposite of helping. So instead of forcing myself into a system that didn’t work, I decided to build my own. I paired these Avery Ultra Tabs with a Moleskine Pro notebook, and that combination ended up being exactly what I needed. The tabs became my structure without adding noise. What makes these tabs work so well is how intentionally simple they are. They’re white, clean, and low-profile, which means they don’t visually compete with the page or scream for attention. They give you a clear anchor point without turning your notebook into a rainbow. If you’re someone who gets distracted or overwhelmed by visual clutter, this matters more than you’d expect. The 2-side writable design is another underrated feature. I use one side for the date or month and the other for a short label or reminder. Because the surface takes pen cleanly (no smearing, no bleeding), I can write neatly without feeling like I need special markers or tiny handwriting. It keeps everything readable at a glance. I also really appreciate that these are repositionable. When you’re building a custom system instead of following a pre-printed planner, mistakes happen. Being able to lift and reapply a tab without tearing the page or losing stickiness makes experimentation stress-free. I moved several tabs while figuring out my layout, and they still hold firmly once placed. These are exactly what I was looking for. The tab is very sturdy and easy to write on. I was glad that they were 2-sided. I was worried about placing them on the paper but that’s what impressed me. They were so easy to lay down straight and the paper didn’t react to the sticky tab coming near it. I have hand issues and I didn’t have a problem at all. Even opening the package was easy.

Great quality item! I've purchased a couple of times. I use them to label dates and ages in a milestone photo album for my kids and they work great. These tabs are easily repositionable, but I've also never had one fall off. The paper portion is very easy to write on as well - no smudging.

These are great index tabs. They adhere well but pull off easily without tearing paper or leaving residue.

Adhesive strength good but still able to remove without damage. Thick paper quality.

These work great. Large enough to easily handle and write on, and I've repeatedly taken them on and off paper with little loss of adhesive quality. Will take pencil or ink, and pencil erasure corrections don't ruin them.

These tabs are amazing! I like to add them in all my three ring binders for quick organization. They stay put with great adhesion but can also be moved without harming your papers! They can be reused once pulled off if you need to reposition them as well. They are durable and the size makes them easy to read and flip through. I highly recommend them!
