Brilliant
Bought for my toddlers - Lovely resource for homeschooling. Comes with some prompt cards with lots of different activities(double sided) and they are a nice big size. They enjoy all the varieties of activities that can be done with this. Good quality, very easy to put together Most importantly, kids find it fun and engaging and keeps them busy for a while. They enjoy checking if their toys are heavier than the water :)

Brilliant Practical Early Maths Concepts, If a little Pricey
A bit on the pricey side at around £35 as I write this, which seems to be a common theme with this brand. Regardless, the true value is in the colour manual and addition double sided activity cards and is probably the USP for this brand. The learning material is well laid out, it is written in a way which children can understand and follow, in a fun and approachable way - even for those that are intimidated by early KS1 maths. The supplied equipment is good enough, not high quality, that being said it helps deliver the concepts and experiments directed in the manual and from those on the cards very well. You get the following in the set: • 4 Rainbow Fraction Measuring Cups. • 1 Nestable Bucket Balance, • 20 Interlocking MathLink Cubes, • 10 Double-sided Activity Cards, • 1 Multilingual Full Colour Manual The set is useful in teaching many early maths concepts, such as measuring, size, weight and balance, fractions, density of liquids and solids, volume and mathematical units with will become commonplace as our little one gets older. 4 stars

Great learning toy
So impressed with this measuring set. Great quality like all the other learning resources toys we've had but is such a good way to learn through play. My 4 year old has done some measuring in school recently (with scales that look very similar) and was loving being able to show her little brother how they work. I especially like how maths link cubes are included in the set. We've got another learning resources set which has the maths links cubes in, so it's great to be able to have a bigger pool of cubes and also be able to show the kids the different ways we can use them (even on their own). The cubes have a different shape on each face for example, so even talking about those is a learning activity in itself. This set is a good way to introduce kids to the concepts of a half, quarter etc. with the smaller sections for the scales. Overall I think proper working scales are quite an unusual kids toy to see so learning opportunities aside they would make a brilliant addition to any kitchen or shop set for kids. Great toy.

Great activity set
These learning resources activities sets are rally good. The quality is impressive and are always great fun playing with the children. This sets does help them understanding the difference in weight and measurement using the scoops and the scale they can see in practice what they are learning.

A tad expensive but it is a very good, learning toy.
Learning resources toys are usually quite pricey. This is no different but, in this case, I think it is a great bundle that can actually really help children understand basic, math-related concepts. Essentially, it is teaching children concepts relating to measurements in a fun and interactive way. The elements included are fairly well made. They’re not cheap plastic and are good enough quality that young children will be able to use them with ease. There are also activity cards included that pair up really well with all the materials included. These cards touch on quite a lot of topics that will give children a head-start on math-related concepts from a young age. There’s cards about weight, length, capacity, height… and children have to follow instructions to measure things in different scenarios. It is presented as a fun activity instead of a ‘learning’ activity so children will enjoy themselves whilst learning. A bit expensive but quite a complete bundle that will actually teach young children concepts they’re not yet familiar with in a fun and interactive way.

Great quality as always
This seems expensive for what it is but the quality is so good and will last a long time so can be past down or on to other children or even used in schools. It's a fun practical way of learning which I find works much better at staying in the mind than looking at pictures or reading. I've played with this with my 3 year old using her toys and setting her tasks of finding a toy that will be lighter or heaver than another toy ect. Well worth having for some early learning fun

Great help for learning
Kids love to play but not so keen on learning but when the 2 come together it's much more fun!. This set comes in a cardboard box which is quite compact for all that's Included inside is: 4 x Rainbow Fraction Measuring Cups 1 x Nestable Bucket Balance 20 x MathLink Cubes 10 x Double-sided Activity Cards 1 x Manual This set helps to teach about volume ,weight, height and capacity. There is 10 double sided activity sheets that are wipe clean and help guide your child. My daughter spent many hours experimenting with this . Everything is of a good quality and not cheap and flimsy. This is made to last and will help for many years

We just received this today and it looks great and pretty durable for a plastic toy. I love the little 'extras' for measuring that it comes with (activity cards for measuring, fraction cup measures, and the cubes), so I give it credit for those, but it wasn't why I purchased it. I purchased this because I thought the scale would automatically shift from greater-than (>), equal (=), and less-than (<) symbols. Instead, I discovered that feature is something you have to do MANUALLY, which doesn't help me at all, because I wanted my daughter to learn this independently through play. (And now, when she DOES play independently, it will often show the inaccurate symbol for the relationship, which is probably detrimental to her learning!) If I'd known that I had to do it manually, I would have bought a different scale that I liked more and just created little cards to show the greater-than/equal/less-than symbols. I'm really disappointed this feature wasn't as expected and I am seriously considering returning this scale.

My kid loves to play with this, but it has a measuring cup missing :(

This scale is decent for introducing capacity to preschool/kindergarten age students. Best if using dry goods in the scale pieces, however, as the clear plastic holders leak water; which was disappointing.
