There is a strong smell that reminds me of the white school glue from the 80s.I did not buy for pouring purposes. I thought based on the product I would be able to thin acrylic paints to be sheer and work like a wash. When I followed Instructions the mixture stuck to the paper and did not flow nicely. I had to keep adding water to get the desired effect.I used apple barrel acrylic paint to start.I may mix a ratio as I wanted to add some inks for an easy wash look as well.I thought it would be thin like milk. It has the consistency of white glue.Obviously I can't say how it works as a pouring medium.

I tried a much more expensive brand that I do still like much better, but for a great price, this pouring medium is still good. I’d like to have an irridescent medium in this brand. This is slightly thicker than other brands I use but still works ok to thin heavy body paint.
