Real honey so good
I liked everything about this honey

Sweetness
Used as a sugar supplement, tastes nice, but too sweet, just a half teaspoonful to a 200ml cup for a tea or coffee is okay. Initially added a whole teaspoonful, but was too sweet. If you do not like your drink too sweet, I suggest adding just half tea spoonful.

Exceptional flavour - a gourmet honey...
This Scottish Bee Company Signature Honey has been quite a revelation to me. I actually thought I wasn't so keen on honey - so many seem to be purely sweet with no discernible flavour. But with this warm amber coloured honey, there appeared to be other tastes there balancing the sweetness. The jar I received has a long Best Before date of 30/11/2024. Good to know - but I daresay this won't signify much as we're already nearly halfway down the jar in one sitting. I had one piece of toast - once I found out how good this soft set honey tasted I must admit it was pretty loaded. My partner had 3 or 4 pieces.'You'll be dismayed to learn I liked the honey', I said. 'Oh. Good', he said with no real enthusiasm. At £11.99 at time of writing for just 227g, it's not cheap - but then neither does it taste cheap. The flavour is exceptional.GMO and pesticide free, this honey is organically harvested in the Scottish lowlands. It contains '10 times more manganese than any other honey in the world' - sounds good but I don't know what benefits this may bring. I'd have liked this to be clarified a little in the listing. The Scottish Bee Company gives 10 pence from every jar sold to 'our sister charity Repollinate which helps build wildflower gardens around the UK.''You shouldn't put that honey in the fridge', said my partner. 'Huh? Does it say so on the jar?' I asked. 'It will do somewhere', he said. And sure enough, it did.

Good but costly honey with a slight grainy consistency
This is a 340g pot of cloudy honey blended from bees collecting nectar from heather and from blossom.Reflecting the cloudy nature of the honey the product has a slightly grainy texture noticeable when consuming it. It is very pleasant however and a little goes a long way. That may be just as well as at about £14 at time of review this honey is costly in the range of Manuka honey from New Zealand.Good as the honey is I don’t think I can justify the price.Three stars.

A truly unique and distinguished flavour nurtured in the heart of Scotland.
I love honey and I am so glad I searched for pure Scottish honey online and stumbled across your lovely site as I am Scottish and I want to shop as locally as possible and opt for nice beautiful and natural Scottish produce. It's the nicest honey I've tasted. It's not too sweet, doesn't leave a bitter after taste like some honeyI just tried some of this honey for the first time and I immediately rushed here to leave a review because it's absolutely the best honey I've ever had! The taste is so rich and smooth, it feels like a decadent treat... I'll have to be careful, or I'll end up eating it by the spoonful!Me and my partner have already had it in tea, on toast and in a marinade for roast veg today too as well as giving in to cravings with a wee teaspoon full too as it is! I know already what everyone is getting for their birthdays this year :) I want them to try your honey!I just love this honey. I love the taste, I love the fact it has antibacterial properties and that it is 100% natural and from bees in Scotland.Thank you to the Scottish Bee Company for such a lovely product, and you can definitely expect more orders from me in the future! This company knows their honey !!!! I love honey with my all my teas especially my matcha !!! The flavors are Rich and wonderfulIt’s a must buy for you and all your family !!!!!Scottish Bee Company deserve every accolade.

The delicious and floral honey we can’t live without!
What a delicious Signature Scottish honey this is by the Scottish Bee Company. I have been really enjoying this honey on toast, porridges and even teas to add a little sweetness which also provides some amazing health benefits. This particular honey is of a perfect consistency and texture, it is runny but still is a little thick to allow for a very satisfying spread on toast, etc. It has a very distinctive floral and sweet taste which was to my liking. Unlike supermarket brands, you can really taste the difference. I have recently had a bit of a cold but this honey in tea with some lemon put me back on me feet again. This is the real stuff! For sure a high quality honey by The Scottish Bee Company and hence worth the slightly steep price of £14 for 340 grams.Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Incredibly fragrant and flavourful, but not what I would call "smooth and creamy"
The media could not be loaded. I wish we had the technology to share scents online, because this honey has an incredibly fragrant sweet flowery scent! The flavour is also similarly potent, and adds a distinct floral layer - I tried it drizzled on some fruity porridge, but the honey really packed a punch, so I'm probably going to use it on plain oats next time, as it seems like a shame to cover up such a distinct and pleasant honey taste. I also really liked the product's transparency regarding where exactly the honey comes from - and reassuringly, it's all sourced from the UK, with the brand even donating 10p per sale towards supporting the endangered bee population. However, I'm not sure I would describe it as "smooth and creamy" as the description does; it's really more of a chunky grainy type of honey, as you can see from both my and the seller's images - it's definitely high quality and rich in flavour, but it is thick. I heated mine up in a hot water bath to make the consistency more cooperative and easier to drizzle (the result of which you can see in the video), but the graininess never quite went away.Unfortunately, the jar also arrived covered in honey - either I got one with a faulty lid, or the jars can't handle being transported sideways, because the entire thing was sticky from the spillage.
