They suck ! Bought two - both failed. Junk.
Well, don’t do it - the Weller name isn’t what it once was, or maybe it is in soldering tools but they just took a China junk lighter and slapped their name on it??? I don’t know - what I do know is these let me down. Junk….Like many things you buy on Amazon these days, no way you can return it cause it’s got to break in 30 days or the window is closed. They used to give you like 3 or 6 months. I don’t recall but a lot longer, not anymore. So we are just screwed when this happens. So I bought these in January 25’ …. That seems like “well heck they can’t gurantee them forever” but the problem with that logic is - one went in my wiring “go bag” for call outs for someone broke down or going to the field to work on equipment. That lighter got used maybe 5 times, I use them to shrink “heat shrink” …The second one I bought went in my shop tool box for the same purpose, so I used it maybe 10 times, or 15. Just when I have to wire up something that’s small wire size. When I was frustrated with the cheap mini torches and cheap lighters, and was searching for something quality and found these - I thought “finally, now we are talking cause Weller makes quality tools, I finally got a good one here that’s will last”I was wrong. One stopped lighting a month ago, I just was frustrated but didn’t post here. Well today the one in the go bag after only a few uses - it quit. Won’t light. The striker is striking a spark, you can see it, so something else went wrong with them. Something isn’t letting the gas out or something. So just buy the cheap junk - these won’t be any better and when they break - to late, 30 days is up, “too bad so sad”. The end. They suck.

Good little torch
I replaced a lesser quality torch with this product, to use for starting campfires and general project work around the house. First off I have to say, it’s a very impressive little gadget.Pros-Produces a large flame, it’s easy to manipulate the igniter & fuel source. Hold great capacity and seems to be easy in fuel.Cons- I had some trouble loading this torch with fuel, I purchased name brand butane with a quality stem. When attempting to load, it seemed to struggle with accepting the butane. After some work and fuel loss I was able to get it to fill.Over all this is a quality product that performs well!

Great torch
So I am a smoker and I also ride a bicycle as my main form of transportation. While I can see that these seem to be conflicting with each other the fact remains, when I am on my bicycle it is next to impossible to light a cigarette without stopping with a bic lighter. This has led me to start using torches instead of traditional lighters. I’ve used quite a few different brands usually purchased at a local gas station and work for a couple weeks or maybe a few months even they all seem to fail quite rapidly.I haven’t had this one for too long now and if I have any issues out of it, I’ll update this review but as of now it seems to be a pretty good torch. it lights every time and it feels very solid in your hand, and the only thing that I can see it’s lacking would be a fuel window. I will say I had to open it up to adjust the flame on it which took all of five minutes. I’m assuming since these are shipped from the factory without any fluid, they probably never had any fluid in them in the first place so I would think it would be quite hard to correctly adjust a torch without any butane in it. Anyways, removing three street screws to adjust a flame is a small price to pay for a decent torch, I just hope that it holds up well.

Great product
Best touch I've ever owned unfortunately I lost it to loose pockets and sharp mower blades, if you haven't owned one like this you haven't owned a good torch. Great all around tool, and casual use.

SO....SO.....
I BOUGHT IT TO SEE IF IT WILL OUTLAST the usual torch lighter lifespan. It is HARD to fill for starters. It may need an adapter to fill it more effectively. As you attempt to fill it, you'll spill more butane than get it in. The other flaw is the flame control. It doesn't regulate the flame. It makes a great 2000° light saber/cigar lighter though. The only good thing it has is its well known name, Weller. We'll update you on its durability....
