This is the cheap version of an other brand. It is small and nicely built. You can lock it. Easy to remove. I use it for the light and phone on my photobooth. It work great. It is not that expensive. This help me reduce on setting up time by 25%.

This is exactly the type of quick mount solution I was seeking to use with my monopod in the field. It is very nicely machined, compact, and simple to use. I looked at many different similar products, but this one stood out among the rest due to the small size, lack of protruding levers, and the ability to affix the camera onto it in any direction. And it doesn't overhang the top of my monopod. In a word, it's ideal.

This is a fantastic little invention. I really needed this. Now I can use my camera with my video head. Because the fluid Head video heads have the panhandle in a different direction for doing video than for doing camera work. So it holds absolutely wonderful. You can adjust it to fit either way you want because it's a perfect square. It's a great value for your money. You should buy it! I'm buying a couple more because I really like these. The locking mechanism is fantastic!

I have bought five of these so far. I make YouTube videos and have several tripods with different quick connect mechanisms that do not work interchangeably. I have been looking for a single kind of quick connect that I can put on all my tripods, cameras and lights and these are perfect. Each one includes the base you can screw onto a tripod and an upper part that screws onto the camera or light. They click together easily and have a lock setting. Now I can easily switch cameras and lights around easily. I also use some magnetic lights so I was able to attach one of these upper units to a small 1.5 x 1.5 inch steel plate, so now I can attach a magnetic light to any of my tripods. The only limitation I see would be if you have a heavy camera with a very long lens. I'm not sure these are big enough for such a load, but they work great with my DSLR, GoPro Hero, and assorted lights that I use. They are inexpensive enough to put them on all my photographic equipment!

I love these little things and I have several of them for my camera setup. I use a camera cage and I have one quick-lock installed on every tripod, on my teleprompter, on my movie rig cage and on my side mounted carry handles. the only negative is that they ARE a single point contact in many cases. In a few instances, the holes lined up to where I could put 2 screws in, but for the most part, I can only mount one screw. That means that when I use these for my side handles, the handles will spin if you don't crank these mounts down really hard. Additionally, I wouldn't use them as a primary mount in your movie rig if you use a follow focus. In my instance, there was too much slack in this device and my follow focus was slipping out of the lens gear. I would prefer they make them rectangular and have a slot for a second screw. I'd happily sacrifice 2 of the mounting positions in exchange for the more stable hookup. I love your stuff, Smallrig, but this one could be tweaked. Overall, I still love these things and I own a ton of them.

Used with a trail cam on my trailer. This was must have for me and it's working perfectly. So now I don't have to unscrew camera everday (I have to check camera everyday). Would definitely buy again.
