Perfect heating pad. It has six heat settings with an automatic timer, so you can fall asleep and not worry about leaving it on for too long. It is soft to the touch on Both sides . It is flexible and easy to wrap around my knee. I got the smaller size and it is perfect for my knee but can also be used on the back or neck and it comes in bigger sizes as well in case you need to cover a larger area.. I’m very happy with this purchase. If you need a heating pad, I highly recommend this one.

Good product: Size, ease of use (controls, length of cord, size of pad, material of pad; heats up/cools down quickly, max of 120 min of heat before auto shut off. Matieral is soft and attractive. Best heating pad ever.I was concerned when it arrived with all the use cautions--Does this have a bad track record?--but it appears the manufacturer just lawyered the heck out of it. I mean, sure, follow the safety rules/cautions, but this works as advertised--so far. Especially happy there is no annoying velcro strap permanently sewn in. I ordered a second one: one for the bedroom, one for the tv room.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love this heating pad. The size it really great. The material is soft and easy to manipulate for where you need to use it. I like that it has multiple settings for timing and heat.

The warning label on the heating pad itself says to NOT get it wet. Makes sense, it IS electronics that generate heat thinly covered in fabric. However I do take a bit of an issue when they very openly advertise it as something that can be dampened and machine washed... When neither of these should be happening.That said, its a wonderful heating pad, and genuinely does help with pain and muscle tension.It's pretty good sized, longer than several others I've tried, heats well and quickly, and the adjustable settings are lovely.Love that it turns itself off after a set amount of time (this can also be set by you, so it doesn't just randomly turn off every 15 minutes while you're relaxing). The fabric is, in fact, soft and enjoyable to the touch! I've had no issues with the one I have.The only thing knocking off that star is the advertisements saying that you can mist it in water and throw it in the washing machine, as this is a contradiction to the product's own warning label... Which, let's be entirely honest, how many people are going to read it? Yes, we should, and I did... However the vast majority of people will not.Best case, this will break the product over time. Worst case, this can cause injury or even a fire hazard.Seeing as this is an issue with the advertising, and not the product(again, it has a warning label), I'm leaving most of the stars.

Excellent heating pad. Warms up fast. Has several temp levels and auto timer. Very soft material.

I have bought this heating pad multiple times! My dog chewed up the cord once (thankfully when it wasn’t on), I gave one to my parents, I guess I wore one out, so apparently I’m on my 4th one now. I have also recommended it to my friends and they all love it. It gets super hot though so be careful. It’s so nice to be able to adjust the heat and the time. It’s also super soft. Definitely not like the old models I grew up with in the 80’s.

I love the timer. The last one I had turned off automatically, and I never knew when it would happen. This one fits my entire back and is nice and soft. And more importantly, it's HOT!

I like everything about this except that it doesn’t get hot enough for me and it fluctuates in output.Cons:I don’t know if it’s just me who has a high heat tolerance, but this could DEFINITELY be hotter. Even at the highest setting, it just feels very warm to me but not quite proper hot. The warning that prolonged exposure could lead to burns made me chuckle because of this. The output seems to ebb and flow a bit too, especially if the timer is on the lower settings.Pros:I really like the overall fabric feel and convenience though! It’s not stiff and it’s very soft, so it almost feels like a cozy blanket. I like that you can just unplug the power cord and throw it in the wash too. And the heat distribution across the length and width is very even, much better than my old one.For the price, I’m happy enough to keep it. But if it had a higher max temp and more consistent output, it’d be absolutely perfect.Update:I’ve had this for a while now and use it almost everyday. I always use it on the highest heat and it does seem to be enough, but sometimes is a little weird. The part that is making contact will start to not feel very hot while a part that’s not making contact will feel molten if left alone enough. So I flip it around intermittently while using it so it always feels hot when I’m using it on my neck or shoulders or feet. If using it on your lap just to generally keep warm though, it’s usually fine without moving it and does the job great. I wish it had a setting without a timer though, because as it ticks down, it does get slightly cooler. Which could be great for those using it in shorter timeframes as you should be. But I like to use it for extended periods of time and will have to periodically mess with the timer. Overall though, I really do like this product, use it all the time, and it’s holding up perfectly, so I gave it another star.
