As a magician, this is sort of a nostalgic product for me. Many of us in the magic world got our start with magic kits very much like this one, and I'm no exception. I bought this product because I'm a Penn & Teller fan, but also because I wanted the nostalgic thrill of playing with a children's magic set again. I wasn't disappointed.As magic sets go, this is definitely one of the better ones. The props included aren't high-value professional props--they're the cheap plastic you expect from a magic set--but they have been well-curated to provide an excellent and fun early introduction to the art of magic. As a matter of fact, I've even used one of the included props (though I won't say which one) in my own professional close-up magic.The buyer should be aware that Penn & Teller themselves don't teach the tricks on the instructional DVD, so in that regard it's not entirely "Penn & Teller's" magic kit, but even as a P&T fan, I was happy to overlook that minor deficit to enjoy an excellent product. And the P&T fans won't find any further disappointments because some of the included props ARE P&T themed.I've had a lot of fun with this product and can heartily recommend it to anyone looking to recapture some of the magic of their youth, or as a gift for any youngster interested in the conjuring arts.
