Better strap would make this a five star product
The mount works great. The straps unfortunately let the mount down. The end stiches came apart on one of the straps and it just fell apart. I glued the ends on the second strap but it's starting to come loose as well. I've gotten some thin velcro straps to replace the ones that came with the mount. If you mount once and never move it, the straps should be fine. If you plan on mounting on different helmets every so often, a better strap will be needed.

Works well
Since the chin part of my helmet is pointing down, this mount didn't work when mounted "right side up." There was no room to angle the camera up. I flipped the mount over where the mount was pointing down and then was able to angle the camera up to where it would be able to see more than just the instrument cluster. My camera allows me to flip the image and the whole setup works like a charm.

Weak plastic
I like that they included a few joints as this helps a lot with getting the right angle. However, the hard plastic piece will break if you are not careful. As you can see in the picture, the mount, having a hard plastic piece, does not conform to the curve of my helmet. It sticks out and can snag on things. The pictures also show how there are signs of weak plastic bending and turning white at the strap points. I tried mounting it right side up, and upside down, nothing was able to make it fit nicely. Also note that if you have a visor seal around the helmet that blocks out wind noises, the straps runs over it and will negate their use. I think this will be fine as a temporary measure if u really need to mount a GoPro on your helmet for the day, but definitely not for long term use.
