Stay away. Scam.
It literally trickles through 12 feet of one inch tubing with almost no rise. And I'm not exaggerating. A $10 Home Depot fountain pump the size of a baseball would move more water. The instruction book says over 10 feet of tubing, expect 384 gallons per hour. Really? From 1400 to 384 just traveling 10 feet? Scam. Manufacture date was March 2018. This is obviously a defective lot that couldn't survive retail sale so is being palmed off online.

A really Fantastic Pump
Fantastic pump. I had a canister filter that is used for a small waterfall but I wanted a fountain as well. Standard fountain pumps kept getting clogged because of all the debris from several trees falling into the pond. Even with a net over the pond, the debris was finding its way in and clogging the pump nearly every day. I purchased this Alpine solid handling pump and I fabricated a custom fountain head with LED lights that completely light up the water stream. It looks fantastic at night. I only have to clean the pump about once every 2-3 weeks which consists of clearing the small amount of debris from the intake. It takes less than 5 minutes. What a pleasure. I would recommend this pump to anyone who needs a reliable, economical solid handling pump with excellent flow.

A big upgrade
We recently purchased a property and it came with a pond. The pump in place was very large and power hungry. This pump moves as much water using less power and has been a great upgrade.

Solid unit, Great Customer Care
Had unit for years with no pump problems. When I had a problem, customer service was quick to respond and helped solve it. Learned about pump maintenance too. I have two pumps and would buy another if needed.

I bought this product back in April and its been working great then I had a glitch and contacted customer service and they were on in and got me fixed up .I highly recommend this product and this kind of serviceNick
