Perfect for our girls!
I was looking for a better way to keep our 15 girls with fresh water and these worked perfect. We had big can with a lid we were planning on using these with. I was a little nervous they would leak but they have a rubber ring and screwed on tight. When the water gets low they flip up and then when you fill up the can with water again they fill up with water and fall back so the chickens can drink. To clean them I turn them down a bit so they are facing sideways and rinse them and wipe them out and then turn them back up. Super simple and easy!! The package even comes with the proper drill bit so there is no guessing!!

These are awesome!
We have 33 chickens and live in Kansas where the summers are super hot. We were needing to fill our smaller chicken waterers daily. We wanted one of the very large chicken waterers that you can find at any farm/feed store, but they were upwards of $80. We had a couple of 5 gallon buckets with lids just sitting in our barn, so when I saw these water cups it seemed like it was worth a try. They're perfect. We've been using them for a couple of months, and they've held up great. We're only having to haul water out to the coop a couple of times a week now, and it's easy to tell when the chickens need water because the little red buckets "pop up" because they are not being weighed down by the water. We'll be buying more of these as we need them.

Work wonderfully.
These work great tbh I have had no issues except one didn't come with the wing nut for the back so that kinda stunk but I'll just use it as I spare cause I am not returning it for that simple mistake. They work great I don't know why other reviews say they leak maybe they just got faulty one or over tightened because with rubber washers over tightening will lead to them leaking and once you do it there really isn't any going back. Instead of setting the bucket on the ground though I put my bucket on cinder blocks so they wouldn't get dirty or atleast as dirty. Very simple solution and it just makes it easier for the chickens to drink anyway. They work so well I use them for 60 chickens so if that doesn't say it all idk what would. But if the company wants to send that wing nut I'm more than happy to receive it so I can use all 6 lol.

Awesome
Tired of dumping dirty warm water in my coup. I got a Home Depot bucket with lid, bought these cups, came with an attachment for my drill. Easy to install and works so well. No leaking. I also got packs that freeze and I throw them in a new frozen pack when I refill water everyday. These are so awesome and help so much to have fresh cold water

Perfect for a large duck waterer
My ducks took a day or two to figure these out but have had no problem since. They were super easy to install on a 32 gallon trash can. They did have some leaks that took a little bit to figure out. I highly recommend Teflon plumbing tape on the threads to help seal them and prevent the nuts from backing off.

They work! Sort of!
These worked great AFTER I added another thin washer. They wouldn’t stop leaking without it. Now they’re working as expected. Still a good deal and would buy again if needed.

Durable enough so far.
Put a piece of plastic or wood on top of the bucket. It keeps dirt from sparrows and other birds from falling in the cups. The cups are easy to install and came with a drill bit to make the holes. The washers are the right stiffness to completely seal the units, at least on a pail of 12 inches in diameter or more. I used an Ale Pail made for brewing beer because it is made from food grade plastic and has a good top. You don't need to seal the pail, just sit it on top of the bucket, then place something big enough to cover the cups over the pail and secure with a brick or other weight. I ordered 6 cups and have only 6 chickens. I used three and now have three spares.
