Perfect for my needs!
Work great. Super hefty. The forceps I'm replacing twist or lose their grip when removing hooks. This is SOLID. Clamps down super tight, even with the first locking point. Love the clip on it for clipping it to my waders and always having them handy! Scissors part is serrated so it grips the line better as it cuts and it cuts super smooth. Haven't used on braid but works great on fly line, leaders, and tippet.

The only one you’ll ever need.
Excellent quality throughout. Large enough to use wearing gloves. Can attach almost anywhere. Belt loop, outside any pocket, fishing pack or vest and be removed with one hand. Extremely pleased with my purchase.

Product Arrived Covered in Rust
I knew something was up when I cut the zip ties to remove the forceps from the cardboard and bits of finish flaked off onto the ground. The cardboard itself was spotted with rust. The forceps have rust on the body and a crunchy feel - no doubt due to corrosion inside the pivot. I paid a premium for a name brand product and came away disappointed. Edit: seller EndRush responded to my complaint very quickly and sent out a replacement. Very pleased with their customer service!

Easy to use
These are great!!!! Easy to handle and do everything they are intended for and even more.

All in one is good but not great
I like this concept, having two or three tools in one handy package, with a carabiner! But in practice, it didn't work out that well. The forceps work great, but the cutter is not nearly as useful as fingernail clippers in getting close to the hook eye. And one has to either bring the hook to the tool, which is often hanging on a belt or fly box, or take it off and risk losing it in the stream or lake. Better: get separate clippers and forceps, on retractible cords.

Best I have tried
I had ordered a pair of these about a year or 2 ago. they work so well. the cutter on the pliers act just as good as a pair of nippers, and the jaws are great. I lost the first pair I bought. I ordered the hemostats that Loon makes but the thumb hole was too small. really hard to get my thumb in and out. so I bought another one of these and im back to comfortably taking hooks out of beautiful trout. love them. want to order a third time for my salt water fishing trips.
